Both me and the Cider guru DagoWATT have been looking into it for a long long time. There is something with 1.01, I guess it adds more anti piracy and anti not Windows checks.

Once you download it. It will be in a .txt format, change the file from Kane's Wrath.dmg.torrent.txt to Kane's Wrath.dmg.torrent

cyclonefr even made C&C3 KW 1.02 work online and it works great! It's on Brokenstone if you are there. These things are shared through BitTorrent today either you like it or not 🙂

Alright I think I've finally grasped the whole torrent thing 😉 off to find a working one and finally play kane's wrath... friggen EA.

I own legal copies of all the old PC versions of the C&C games and would love to play on the mac. EVERY ea game I've bought on mac has had major problems and so I have sworn off buying any new ones until they get their Mac division working.
Since a cider port is just a pc version ported, I would think owning a legal copy of the pc version would invalidate any legal concerns. I would like to find sources for these cider ports but the links above are inactive. If anyone could forward to me an active link I'll be happy to help seed.
I'm so disappointed in EA games mac support, I would (and have in the past) happily buy two copies of these games for both my son and I to play, but they screw it up every single time. Macsoft (age of empires games) is so much better with mac games it's not even funny. I buy their stuff without worry and their support is top notch.
