    Hello,

I would like to create a Homekit automation with the following logic:

IF Kitchen TEMP is less than / equal to Deck (Outside), THEN turn off AC.

I can't find an application or otherwise that allows for such comparison between two variables.

    Thanks for any help. -Phil

You might have to just stick to less than a certain temperature as a constant.

Are you using a nest? If so you may be able to accomplish this with their new temperature sensor.

I’m actually using an Ecobee - does the Nest have HomeKit integration natively?

Unfortunately it does not have native homekit support yet - I was just wondering if the temperature sensor would be able to get you closer to what you wanted.

Eve app. Even without an Eve device this is probably possible. I have a electric heater that is connected to an iHome switch that turns on when an iHome sensor drops below a certain temp (keeps pipes from freezing). It might be tricky but you can probably get it to work. It’s a very powerful app and because of it I recommend their products as well.
