I have been using a Sena Ultraslim Classic with my iPhone 4 but decided to go with the Ikonic Edge pouch for my 5. The pouch shipped yesterday - when I get it I will be placing the order for the 5.

I'm very happy with the Sena UltraSlim Classic. It was a tight fit at first, but once it gets broken in, it's absolutely perfect. And for those who may be wondering, it does not cause any scratches or nicks on the phone.

Same here, what a great pouch. provides good pocket protection in a super slim form. love how classy the case looks.

I was thinking to get the ultraslim but as it looks now I'm sticking with the BookBook 5 when it comes out. Or just another black walletcase. Like spigens.

The thing is, I have a glass.t now that I have to worry about. 0,4 mm thickness.

I just received that case from etsy. I got it in light grey with an olive lining and it's excellent for the price. The phone fits perfectly and it doesn't add too much bulk, except it obviously makes it a bit wider. The credit card spot is perfect as well. My case has slightly more of an overhang at the top than pictured, about 4mm which isn't too much but adds a nice bit of protection. It's really soft so great for laying your phone on if you keep it naked and don't want it scratching on surfaces. I had a Sena Ultraslim, similar to the beyzacases, for my iPhone 4S and it was really tight. The raw leather seem ended up polishing the steel band leaving permanent lines up the side so I thought I would try something different this time. And i'm glad I did!

You still like the case after using it for some time? I really wanna order this one, just a lil worried that the iphone 5 will scratch due to the wool. Or is there no danger of scratches at all with that material? thx

No danger of scratches at all :) It's a good case but obviously takes up more room!

Yeah, of course. But the pocket is just a big plus for me since it´s really handy to be able to leave the house without a wallet if you go it in the evening or something.

It doesn´t make the iPhone really bulky though, right?
Of course almost all pouches will make the iPhone bigger but this is a trade off I am willing to live with.
At first I really wanted to go for the Sena slim case, but I decided not to, cause a lot of people report that it sits too tight and even scratches the phone.

List updated with the cases posted in the thread!

Happy hunting!

You missed these ...

I am not sure if these have come up yet, probably have, but I have been looking into possibly getting one of these. http://www.brussardo.com/iphone-cases/iphone-5-wallet-case.html

For those looking for an all in one leather case, I just found this one. Says the iPhone 5 version is coming this month, but not sure when.

I have an invisishield HD, i think it's prob 0.2 or 0.3mm and it's fine in the ultraslim. the regular invisishield is 0.2mm and the HD is a tad thicker it seems.

No, it doesn't make it feel bulky, its just a bit wider but you get that with any case that isn't similar to the ultraslim. But yeah, it has replaced my wallet too!

Surprised not to see the Col Littleton wallet posted yet, but it's really designed for the iphone 4/4s size wise. Had mine for a few years now.

I emailed them about making one for the iphone 5 and the answer wasn't a yes/no rather than saying that the iphone 5 sticks out the top by a 1/4". In reality it's 3/8". I'm sticking with mine and hoping they do come around and modify it to fit the iphone 5.

Calypso Case

I am considering getting one of these cases for my iPhone 5. I like to use my phone naked, because it's so beautiful, but I'd like to keep it safe from scratches in my pocket and especially my wife's purse. But I'd like my case to be equally as beautiful (but not too feminine) as the iPhone
I know a lot of people would go   $130 for an iPhone case, but I figure I'm paying ~2500 for my iPhone & plan over the contract, so what's $130 for a beautiful looking case.
However, before I pay $130 for a case I want to know that I'm going to get good use out of it. Has anyone bought one of these cases before? Can you tell me if it has lasted, or if it falls apart easily, if it gets too lose eventually for the iPhone, etc. Will this case stand up to daily use for 2+ years?

Alternatively does anyone have any suggestions for a really premium (under $150 shipped) pouch for the iPhone that they know is high quality?

Thanks!

The case I really fell in love with is the KAVAJ Dallas. It has two card slots on the back, and the flap is magnetic. And except for the magnets, it's 100% leather, even then way it holds inside is a stripe of leather that wraps around the edge of the phone.
