I bought the original set after the standard silicone versions just wouldn’t stay in my ears. After spending $30 and taking three plus weeks to get to me, I was excited to test them out. A month later I had to purchase a cheap $10 set off Amazon since all three sizes of the Comply version broke. They simply will NOT snap on to the AirPod Pros. Cheap Amazon version though? Still going strong with no issues.
Would be curious to see if these are any better but my first experience definitely left a sour taste in my mouth for the brand.

I've got what I presume are the new ones (arrived a couple days ago after months of delay) and I'm quite happy with them. I prefer the silicone tips, but at least the sizes that Apple provides don't fit for me. I bought a third party set of triple tiered silicone tips and they worked in one ear, and the Apple tips worked in the other, so it almost worked but the difference in tips did mean there was a difference in background sound.

When you say "first gen" anything, you should know you're taking a risk and make your decisions accordingly.
$9.99. They have a silicone outer shell and memory foam interior. They also fit better in the case versus the Comply version.

I think the audible difference Between 320kbps and 255kbps is negligible given the music is compressed - especially when you’re listening through in-ears.
I personally am not a fan of my AirPods Pro. I’ve tried different aftermarket tips and still can’t get a good seal, nor are they very comfortable. I bought these flanged ones from Amazon that are somewhat adequate, but I found out the hard and expensive way that jamming things in my ear canal is not pleasant. I’m sure your results may vary depending on your ears.
Can I ask which ones you got? I was about to purchase these, but decided to read the comments first. Kind of glad I didn't...
I teach via Zoom and have my Airpod Pros in for extended runs. They begin to hurt and give me a headache after 2-3 hours of use.
People don't seem to be too fond of the Comply ones and say the customer service/refund process is non-existent. Can anyone recommend others they've found useful?

I contacted them when I had trouble with them popping off. They sent me a credit to order these new ones right away. It was super easy, barely an inconvenience. They actually sent the new generation out to customers who were having trouble ahead of them actually selling them to new customers, so I feel like they did the right thing and if these new ones hold up (seem fine so far) then I’ll continue to buy their products. Sometimes things go wrong. This is a first generation product for a first generation device. Early adopters need to get with the program and understand that the bleeding edge can be painful. It’s really NBD. These are way better than the ones Apple ships as far as comfort goes.
Totally agree with you. I purchased two packs of the originals back in late July as part of a BOGOF sale Comply was running, so I am currently stuck with a pack a half of the older model. I contacted Comply when they sent me an email advertising the new 2.0 version, and they sent me a coupon code for 20 percent off a new pack of the 2.0 version ear tip. Better than nothing I suppose, but it would've been nice if they came through and would have just let me exchange my unopened pack for the 2.0 version.
My guess is that white form simply doesn't stay white very long and that Apple wouldn't want to release Airpods with a grey foam. That could easily save this product from direct competition from Apple. Which doesn't mean that Apple might not find a solution that is better. To some degree the Airpods Pro are a competition to those that sold sealing attachments to the original Airpods.
(Comply also offers products for lots of earphones, not just Airpods.)
I've used Comply foam tips for years, but they remind me a bit of Superfeet insoles. Great product generally, but you always feel that they are 2-3X what they should cost. But they work so well that I'm willing to put up with the pricing. I just got a pair of the Comply 2.0 tips for the Airpod Pros; Amazon had a 20% off coupon, and overnight Prime delivery and free returns, so it was worth giving them a shot. They do snap on, but not quite as securely as the OEM silicon tips; it's easier to pull them off. The fit, at least for me, is better. The Comply's sizing instructions were spot on, too. The Airpod Pros definitely feel more secure in my ear with these tips. Although I've only had one once fall out with the silicon tips, they always sort of felt like they could. Not sure how they compare to the CharJen tips; the hybrid tips look very interesting.
The company is also reading the Comments at its website as well as getting feedback comments from people.
It's amazing how they rushed out a v2 when v1 came out a couple of months ago which tells you how v1 did not do so well.
Some people also posted their comments at other online forums/websites talking about their dissatisfaction of the v1 APP foam tips.

For $10, I gave these a shot and initial impressions are great! The medium tips fit just like the stock Apple medium tips, they appear to stay attached to the APP, and isolate noise well. The bigger test will be long term comfort and durability, but the first few listens I'm glad I didn't spend 2-3x the price of these
