I swear some people here reboot their mind between reading a conversation and bothering to write their reply.

Why would you want a huge software bezel instead of touch rejection? Why would you want a bezel to appear when touching he screen and having your application windows reformat to accommodate the reduced screen space?

Can you imagine trying to click on a Menubar item/icon only to have it disappear or move because the DI™ expanded.

Dynamic island working with the MacBook notch? Possible. Introducing a pill into MacBooks? Sure hope not. That notch at least works with the menu bar. Imagine a pill that sits lower than that notch and even below the menu bar. That doesn't work for me.

Agreed. I’d love to see Face ID and dynamic island brought to the MacBook Pro but only if it can be implemented in a way where it can use the already designated notch space. No pill cutout.
