Um...that's like complaining that your PS1 games look like crap on the PS3.
You move on into the future like everything else. Those games were made for the iPhone/iPad1&2.

I'll still be holding it rather close.
Aren't any of you people near sighted? Retina display is ideal for persons like me who have no choice but to hold things close to read them (because glasses/contact lenses are for distance, not reading!!).
Very simple, Apple moves on. Just like every other new product of theirs, new features are exclusive to newer devices. It kinda sucks.
What happens now that it's quadrupled ?
If you don't mind my asking, what do you expect to be able to do with a quad, you could not do with a dual? For liner code, a faster dual would be better. You could jack the clock speed up to the point that the device returns an answer before you ask a question. The tradeoff with battery life would not make this practical.
More is not always better.

I like Ive, but he rambles way too much and his ******** dictionary is five times as thick as Steve could ever dream of having. He needs to stick to design, he has no stage presence and his hyperbole is off the charts. I can't stand to listen to him verbally vomit about Apple products and the "emotions" they invoke in users and how they love their products. It like he thinks people love them like their kids or pets. The only one close to Ive in hyperbole is Forstall. That guy steals ideas and acts as though he was the genius who thought it up and then gets all wide-eyed about how great it is. Since he has been in charge of iOS it's been nothing more than ripping off big features from other platforms or Apples own devs. Forstall has no shame and his smug smiles presenting others ideas as his own drive me up the wall whenever he is on stage. Schiller is really the only one I can tolerate, maybe Eddy Cue. Cue looks like a nerd and would be fun to talk to. NONE are the salesman Steve was and none should emulate him.

You either need a new eye doctor, or a new prescription.
Page 2 Rumor: Apple to subsidise eye-surgery so people can actually notice the difference in everyday use.

Um, no, that's just how lenses & eyes work. As a nearsighted person, I CAN read with eye correction present but it's uncomfortable & results in migraines. The older you get, the more you'll appreciate the imperfections of human eyes & the limits of eye correction.
Actually to me that is BS.
