So if I don't like the 6+, I can go to an Apple Store and swap it for a 6?

You have 14 days to return it. 2 caveats. They may not have the 6 in stock in the color and size you want to swap. There may be a lag from when they return it until your carrier shows eligibility to purchase the new one unless they can actually do a simple swap. That lag could be 2-3 days. So not quite cut and dry.

If that is the date you got it was most likely based on availability of that color/size combo when you ordered. Delivery vs. Pick up wouldn't change that.

When I ordered I only got 9/19 or unavailable. None of them showed as available at a later date.

I've seen both Unavailable and 7-10 days for Verizon models on the App.

Well, I guess this is my confirmed order. Got a gold one on verizon and managed to get the Gray one on the iPhone app.

Ordered a silver 128 gig 6+. Managed to get the order in within a few minutes of the App Store app working. Received the email confirmation about 25 minutes after midnight. Credit card charged. Delivery on the 19th.

Got my confirmation from Verizon, and $0 down because I signed up for Edge.

I wasn't eligible for an upgrade so I just added a line, and signed up for a shared plan. Now my bill will be like $160 for both phones.

I feel like I've done something wrong. This seems too good to be true lol

I could've bought the phone outright (sure it would've been cheaper in the end), but I wanted to try something new

I picked the 6+ 16GB (because I don't store stuff on my phone), and I'll have it on the 19th! Good way to start a Friday!

Via the app on my iPhone. Both are confirmed & I received emails for both, yet have only been charged for 1. Not sure who's as they are the same price.

Took an hour but finally got through on my iPad. ATT iPhone 6+ Space Grey 64GB scheduled for delivery on 9/19. I unfortunately didn't get to put it on the card I wanted since I was to afraid to change anything once I got that far along in the order process, but oh well.

Holy crap the Space Gray 6+ actually appeared as available 09/19 on the iPhone app, it's the 16GB one but whatever, it'll work...I got the standard "We have an iPhone for you screen"...better be the real deal.

What a ridiculous mess. I now have two confirmations from AT&T (6 gold 64gb for 9/19; 6+ space gray 128gb shipping in 14-21 BUSINESS days) then get a "Reservation Number" from what I thought was a failed order for a 6+ 128GB on my iPhone's Apple store app for delivery in 7-10 business days. Just watch, when they finally confirm with AT&T they'll reject the earlier delivery because they sold me one for delivery in October. FUBAR!

Finally got through on the app and placed an order for a 64 GB Space Gray iPhone 6 Plus. I got the "reserved" notice, but tried again about 10 minutes later and it went through. Delivers Oct. 1 - Oct. 6.

Ordered un Upgrade iPhone 6 AT&T right off the bat through the App. Delivers 9/19.

Took 2.5 hours to order Unlocked No-Contract 6 Plus (could only order this through Apple.com), finally get it through at 5:30am. Ships 7-10 business days, Oct 1-7.

Was able to order one through the iPhone App (6,Black,128), but that was one I was upgrading.

I need to order 2 more without a contract (T-Mobile) which it says you can only do on their main site, which is STILL down at almost 4am ET. Apple, you suck.

It took 90 minutes to get my order processed. I had to order from the sprint site. Plan issue

IPhone 6 plus 128 GB I was given a three week ship window.

Apple really screwed me over. I had the opportunity to get mine through Verizon for delivery by 10/7, but I tried to get it through Apple.com and the Apple store app. Neither are working, and when I tried to get it through Verizon, I could no longer get back in until 4am, and I ordered 2 Iphone 6 Plus's, and it was delivery by Oct 7.

What does your email confirmation say? Mine says delivery next Friday but if I log into Verizon's website it says 10/7.
