To the op,

Honestly, I'll tell you the truth. If you're a smart and know a lot about technology, you will know the iphone is limited severely to the competition.

As much as I don't like AT&T and HTC, Tilt is a great phone. The amount of things you can do with it is endless, but for even more, nothing beats the Treo on a 3g network.

If you are like me, who settled for the product that isn't at the top end of the spectrum, but realizes why I got it, for the looks and making cell phones fun to use again.

Hopefully down the road, Apple will add some real functionality and openness that catered to the Treo crowd. Yes that would mean for possible lockups, but the only people who locked their phone up were the same people who did not know how to run his phone properly.

However, Apple doesn't have that philosophy, they rather cater to the "masses" and that means... unfortunately for us technology freaks, dumbing down their phone.

I got mine for the pure design, it makes having a cell phone fun again, like when I got my first cell phone. It makes everything so much more practical. I can do without push, I can do without advance applications on my cellphone.

Be ready for sacrifices, but sacrifices that are not bad in comparison to the feeling you get when holding an iPhone. :)

current sprint pcs customer switching to iphone (ATT)

I have been with Sprint PCS for many years and realize that they do not have a product that can compete with the iPhone so I am making the switch. Not to mention Sprint's customer service and retention suck. I'm a long timer at 5 years with Sprint and that's the longest I know out of anyone who has been in the industry as long as I have and it has been a struggle. Sure they all count on customers switching every few years but if you had a good product like the iPhone and valued your costumers, retention wouldn't be an issue. Welcome to AT & T/iPhone.

I have to agree 100%, Sprint's customer service sucks real balls. The only competent people on their end are retentions. You don't know how many times I wanted to slam my phone into the wall after having weird addons added onto my plan.
