Okay. Again, I'm asking what FEATURES from the watch make this stupid wait worth it? I could care less about my spot in line, or if the watch will get scratched. What makes the Apple Watch worth it? Can anyone even answer this question?
There are many threads about what makes the watch a great device. I encourage you to read through a few.
It's your call then if you feel it's not for you. There's plenty of stuff Apple makes that I don't own because I don't need it.
Personally, the watch acts as a second screen for my iPhone, giving me an almost heads-up display of the items I've chosen (emails from my VIP list, iMessages, notifications only from specific apps I've selected, etc). Plus it makes for a very nice watch -- I'm a watch wearer so I appreciate the polished stainless steel, quality strap and sapphire crystal.
Can one live a complete and fulfilling life without the Apple watch? Of course. Do I personally think it was worth $699? For me, yes, I do.
