You just need to keep them in a cool, dry, smoke-free place.
I mean during shipping.
My guess is that he will pack it in a larger, probably padded box.
I have an EPIC Prototype (1400cs, 117 Mhz) and a Bandai Pippin going on shortly.
Vintage 1985 Apple Corporate Identity Graphic Standards Manual: 6/c Apple Logo Identity Program
For sale is an extremely rare copy of Apple's corporate identity graphics standards manual. Only a couple hundred copies of this manual was produced and they were given out to all the various marketing and ad agencies who were servicing Apple. Produced by Apple's internal Creative Serv ice department, this was the definitive bible/reference resource to all things Apple. This manual has all the specifications on how to reproduce the 6/c Apple logo using 4/c process-color and PMS match colors on coated and uncoated paper stock. It has staging instructions for all corporate stationery (domestic and international) and guidelines for use on all promotion materials. The look and feel of many marketing materials, posters and brochures produced between 1985 and 1996 used the standards established in this manual. Along with the reference information, it also comes with an extensive reference section of reproduction quality art of various company and product logotype.
None of the repro pages have been removed. None of the color-match sample chips have been torn off. The manual is in excellent condition consider it's age. There are some slight foxing on the divider pages. All other pages are clean and prestine. Pages are 3-hole punched and stored in a 1.5-inch customized white matt-plastic laminate D-Ring binder. Due to age, the laminate has warpage (see photos). It's clean with no scratches or marks.
The print production cost of this each manual was an astronomical $300 in 1985. Apple had done away with the 6-color logo. A historical document like this is invaluable for the avid Apple collector.
I would be happy to send you more photos of this if you are interested. Just shoot be an e-mail for your e-mail address and I will try to be timely in getting back to you with your requests.
