Make sure you choose a polearm at least six feet long when you go to buy groceries.
Does a coincidentally empty toilet roll tube count as an effective face mask? Asking for a friend.Hello, I am chown33's avatar. Lately, I've become concerned about avatar safety in these uncertain times.
While our human companions have been encouraged to maintain a "social distance" of 6 feet, we simply can't do that on web pages where we appear. They've also been encouraged to stay indoors and away from other humans, and while we may have borders and lines drawn around our <div>s and <span>s, we remain at the mercy of CSS and HTML layout engines.
As avatars, we need to be as pro-active as our humans. As you can see, I'm now wearing a face covering, and I'd like to encourage other avatars to do the same. To help with that, I've convinced my human to render some simple face coverings in different sizes to fit different avatars. The zip files are attached to this post.
These are provided in medium-gray, as shown below, and pale-gray, like I'm wearing. They're provided as PNG files with transparency, so your human can download a zip file then composite a PNG on top of your normal pixels using a suitable app. I'm only an avatar, and an armless one at that, so I can't point to any specific apps for doing this.
If you're an avatar without a face, you can show solidarity by placing one of the PNGs at any location within your circular area that appears in posts. If you have multiple faces, please use as many PNGS as needed.
Thanks for reading, and let's be careful in here.
Medium-gray samples (additional sizes in zip files).

There should be a filter of some kind over the distal end. Otherwise it's just a snorkel.Does a coincidentally empty toilet roll tube count as an effective face mask? Asking for a friend.
Would this at the other end suffice? There should be a filter of some kind over the distal end. Otherwise it's just a snorkel.
