For those who have a last check-in of "Departed Anchorage, AK at 12:58AM",

the packages have to be in Louisville. The flight landed in Alaska at 3:06 PM and were moved to another plane, that plane left at 3:22PM local time(Alaska), and arrived at 12:07AM local time(Kentucky or 1:07 EDT).

So the packages are sitting in Louisville's WorldPort right now, not Alaska.

They just missed the departure scan out of Alaska, so they must have accounted for it at WorldPort, hence why the packages were checked in as leaving Alaska 51 minutes after they Arrived in Louisville.

My phone left Hong Kong at 4:12 am HK time... Could anyone possibly let me know which flight my phone is on? If someone does, many thanks :)

What day??

Not to worry I think almost everyone in this thread is in the same boat. I am pretty sure our phones where on flight 2997 that arrived in louisville this morning. Just not sure why we have not seen the arrival scan. I guess somebody screwed up.

That makes total sense. It would only take them 18 minutes for the plane to arrive, go through customs, unload the plane, reload another plane, and take off... Right.

Customs could be happening at WorldPort...and yes, it's entirely possible.

They unload entire jetliners at WorldPort in mere minutes.

Never said that's what happened for sure, but it's possible.

Also, there is an arrival scan at Louisville at 12:07AM, and that flight I spoke up left Anchorage and Arrived at Louisville at 12:06AM.......hmmmm

Customs 100 percent happen in Anchorage, per public knowledge and a UPS supervisor.

And since we're in the same boat, Im sure you saw our phone left AK at 12:58 AM... I think the Louisville scan was a "destination" scan, if you will.

Could be, just weird. I've never had an arrival scan, before a departure scan on UPS before...things are bound to get weird with the amount of shipments going on thought lol

Its still in louieville and has been for 24 hours! wtf!

Louisville is the main hub so they will probably not be leaving there until some time tomorrow or perhaps even Thursday. They have until Friday so now that hey are in the US there is really no rush. They can get the phone any where from there in 5 hours or less.

I'd suspect we begin to see the Louisville packages flown to the sort facilities overnight Wednesday night and sent to the final delivery hub early Friday by truck, and then out for delivery 6am Friday :)

Count me in as one who has a 12:58am Alaska departure time on 9/18 and no updates since... Is that the case for everyone on the flight and all the Louisvillle arrival talk is just assumptions?? Or do some of you actually have a true arrival scan on your tracking (out of those of us who flew out of HK together)?

Same here. Not worried.

Already hit Anchorage and left at 11:12 :) i went to the flight list tho and didnt see on leaving then...

did you get a departed scan. I have not had a scan since I left Alaska at 12:58 on the 18th.

I haven't either, the scheduled delivery of the 21st before 10:30am hasn't changed though so I'm not too concerned.

UPS tracking can at times be nearly as unreliable as USPS tracking. I have had items stop tracking mid way through and then magically appear as delivered after I get the item or out for delivery the day of.

Considering there seems to be a fair share of us that has their last scan as departing Alaska I'd say its likely a scanning error and nothing to worry about.

Did anyone else have their phone leave Zhengzhou China today as well?

ZhengZhou, China 09/19/2012 4:32 P.M. Departure Scan

What flight would it be on?

You should get an arrival scan to Hong Kong soon. When you get your departure scan from Hong Kong. Then go to flightaware.com and put airport code VHHH into airport tracker/info on the left side. look for a ups flight that left about the same time as your departure scan and thats your plane.
