Anyone got an arrival scan from louisville flight 2997 yet?
Nope, seems they are still drinking their coffee.
Dude, you realize how many planes fly in and out of World Port? Planes don't just sit there. They are refueled and they leave. My guess is they aren't going to unload the plane until the night shift comes in. World Port runs a skeleton crew during the day but from 10PM - 6AM the place is fully staffed.
We should get an arrival scan when they begin the unload process later today.
When I track thru ups.com it says delivery 9/21 by 10:30am call ups , customer service rep says delivery 9-20 by end of day! Could I be so lucky!

Watch that documentary, planes are unloaded, the packages are sent through processing and on another plane or truck normally in under an hour.
Things may go a little faster at night, but that places is in it's hustle and bustle 24/7 for sure.

What time did you complete your order? My UPS is saying 9/21 by end of day. Which I really hope to have it earlier.....

I don't want to start a flame war but I work within sight of the World Port in Louisville. Right now the parking lot is empty. There are a handful of planes parked but no activity going on around them. You're right, work happens all day long but the real work happens at night.
UPS69 has just been sitting in Louisville. I assume it'll move again tonight?!?
Mine has been chilling in KY for 16 hrs
Not flaming either
I guess that documentary was all shot at night....lol
You're probably right.
On a different note, how does it feel to know that your eye phone is practically within site, and Apple is holding it over your head just out of reach until Friday? At least mine is 400 miles away so I don't have to feel as crappy about it just sitting there lol. I feel bad for ya man.
Our phones are not likely to be on that flight. They'll be sorted and broken up into smaller batches heading out on different flights to the regional centers.

Why haven't our phones moved? They departed Alaska at 12:58 AM and it doesn't take 12 hours to fly from Alaska to anywhere in the US.
When do you think that will happen? Do you think they'll use semis for cities that are 2-3 hours away to get them to the local hubs?

If you guys have this attachment below, I'm guess that they just forgot to scan for departure at Anchorage, and that 12:58 AM departure scan was actually the packages leaving LOUISVILLE?
Anyone else have this same thing going on? Seems weird that my package left Anchorage and arrived in Louisville at 12:07AM and then departed Anchorage AGAIN at 12:58AM...
Maybe im getting two phoneslol
looks like they are going to start taking off in 30 mins...
They are in Louisville, just not scanned in yet. Patience.
According the man above who works right next to World Port (Louisville UPS Center), the main activity of packages happens from 10pm - 6am.When do you think that will happen? Do you think they'll use semis for cities that are 2-3 hours away to get them to the local hubs?
Why havnt they scanned them?
