Ok, I think iBooks tomorrow, Powerbooks later, just to through that into the mix, even though lots think that.
And sorry about that SiliconAddict. I really do hope you end up happy. :) Oh, and I'll miss your Intel Core Duo logo thing if/when you take it down. I guess if it happens you'll keep it up a while in celebration, eh? ;)

Ive got my credit card ready in front of my computer. I hope that they release a intel powerbook tomorrow , but an intel ibook will do. All will be reveiled tomorrow...

There aren't going to be any sneak pics of anything Apple has planned coming from ANYWHERE.Apple has that area at MWSF locked down pat..So dont hope for it.

There aren't going to be any updates from Apple until AFTER Steve's keynote because any update would give away Steve's "One More Thing" surprise he values very much..So stop thinking that.

Relax folks there's nothing to be found out or seen until maybe after doors open at MWSF tomorrow...

I agree man... i just read through some of this stuff.... how about everyone stick to the topic at hand, and please..... PLEASE dont hit the reload button on you browser tomorrow millions of times.... Im not sure how its going to be set up this year, but if was like the last couple times... it will refresh on its own... stop using up all the bandwidth!

I just hit the refresh button 10 times to counter act any good advice you may have just gave.

The topic is THIS... anticipation.... I'd rather see actual communication instead of lame ass "So what are you gonna get? hur hur" (which, btw, fingers crossed for a spiffy black mini)

Oh, by the way, I've saved up about $750 (working at McDonald's :p ) for a new Mac for myself...how do you all think the prices for current products will change ? (Like the 12" iBook, possibly.) And for new products (like a 13" iBook) ?

Yeah, live updates being type on screen were happening. Caught the end of it right before the end in the computer lab for the iMac update. Cool blue screen, I recall.:p  :)

Going to bed soon. School tomorrow. Will miss you all. :( Haha, I'm so odd. But no, I'll stay on... but no, I.... AGH!!! :)

Naa I just changed it a couple weeks ago. I think I'll keep it til midyear. Unfortunately I don't have the skills to edit the thing. I want to make an animated gif where the Intel logo morphs into an Apple.

Not 12 hours in advance..
Well, yeah! I didn't mean right now. I meant once the keynote started.

Now we're just all having fun :) We ain't getting any news. Actually, I think I' going to stop this because I really do want to be surpreised tomorrow. It won't be any fun if we figure thsi out right now. Takes the anticipation and the wow effect away

No dual in the Mac Mini

The only way the Mac Mini is going to be 2.8Ghz is if they market a Dual 1.4Ghz as 2x1.4 = 2.8Ghz. ;)

It would be nice though, to have a Mac Mini with similar processor specs to a Dual G5!

The Mac Mini is not a prime time enough player to rate a dual processor, no matter what the name or brand. The same goes for the iBook also. They are both designed to sell in the lower priced market. That means no dual processor. The PowerBook, iMac & PowerMac are different stories though. With a G5 in the iMac, it will be hard to produce a new Itel Yonah processor that will be better than the current G5. Same for the PowerMac. Since the PowerBook has topped out at 1.67 GHz single G4 processor, it will be more easily replace by the current line-up of Intel lower power processors. Still seems too soon for me to want to switch.

Since Apple now is just an iPod selling company & has been switching away from firewire, I'm looking to see the iSight FW replaced with the iSight USB to complement the built-in iSight in the iMac.

Bigger and Smaller....

Shuffle gets smaller and Video gets bigger....amazing.

No, we'll miss you. :( :D Haha, I want a tad to be suprised, and to not be sleeping in class tomorrow..... crap. :( Have to work on some art I'm so far behind on around the time the keynote starts.

Night. Going to be so tired tomorrow morning.

Thanks for not letting me go the caffeine route, eVolcre! :D Now for that Valium... nah, too tired to take it. :p

the newbies and all their craziness is pushing me away...Is there a forum just for macrumors members (with more than 100(200?) posts)?
Or perhaps appleinsider is the place to go??

On Desk: Amex Card

I freakin' love this reply. A true MacAddict—I salute you!

And I'm not reading anything so I can have a surprise tomorrow as well.

I will be buying iWork tomorrow, mostly due to my hopes that Pages 2 will add some great new features and improvements. Don't really think that a spreadsheet, if added would be anywhere near excel which I use infrequently anyway.

Waiting for this summer when we have to by our son a laptop for college so hopefully by then a rev b on an ibook or powerbook.

Will be interested to see just what the new mac mini turns out to be...I am not interested at all in a TV style solution. Would be more interested in a set top style box that streams to what I already have.

Haha, come on, the newbies are fine. Spread some goodwill. :) I was one. We all were. *remembers* can't wait until I gain a new title....
Bye all. For real now. :D I think.

We need some serious mod action tonight. I really really think all the 'newbies' isn't an accident. People know about the importance of this event and it really could be some dicks from the PC centric sites.

Thnk about it, 10 newbies all with stupid photoshops?

If someone hit the other forums at anandtech/ars/slashdot - I bet we'd see a thread talking about how they are riling us up.

ARN!! Moderatros needed!!
