It's better than Christmas, it's the Christmas Eve of the Mac world! All is anticpation and imagination -- visions of 50" standalone computers dancing in their heads, etc.

Of course for those of us without the spare $3200, I guess the anticipation will stretch itself out for a while.

Thank God for Apple stores. At least then you can pretend you own a 50" cineMac.

i think people who cant afford anything right now still got that "oh Boy!" going on....if i cant get a PB im going for a mini and that will hold me off until powermac g6(?) comes out

No thanks. There are enough iPods for everyone. As of late, I have felt that all Apple does is bring out iPods. Stuff the iPods I want Mac's and other stuff.

I dunno the 5G iPods have barely been out for 3 months. Then again, iTunes 5 was out for less time then that before 6 came along. Who knows. I just wish there was a webcast available somewhere.

Agreed, it would be very easy to outclass PowerBooks.
It wouldn't do Apple much good to outclass the PowerMacs so swiftly .

Apple won't outclass the quad G5 that easy, a dual top model is a possibility. They plan to enter the Intel business with a BANG so we can expect the unexpected.
