Have received both Pfizer doses and aside from the usual sore injection point that any vaccine will have, the only symptom I experienced was sensitive skin. The fronts of my knees were ticklish and my nips were hard for a few days so I avoided chafing by not wearing a shirt. Not a bad experience at all, for sure, and I’m glad to be fully vaccinated now.

Wow, that was a bad experience. 😒 After I got my second Moderna shot last Saturday, I was essentially weak and asuffering headaches for 48 hours.

I got vaccinated back in late December and early January (healthcare worker). Got Pfizer as it was the only one approved at the time (Moderna was approved like a week after I got my first dose).

First dose I had a low-grade fever for 24 hrs and a sore arm for like 3 days.
Second dose I had almost nothing -- like a low-grade fever for a couple hours the day after and a mildly sore arm for about 48 hrs.

Please everyone get vaccinated!

I got my first shot of AstraZeneca on the 15th and I was totally knocked out for 1 day afterwards. Chills, Headache, every muscle hurt. I actually woke up feeling like after a night of too much tequila. I called in sick for one day and it was thankfully fine afterwards.

Now I got to wait until August for my second dose, yay

Okay, the AstraZeneca vaccine has a longer period between doses than the Pfizer/BioNTech SE and Moderna vaccines, which are 3-4 weeks between doses.

Fully vaccinated here. I got my second shot done on Monday.( Moderna ) Had very few symptoms The first 24 hours. Then I got wicked body aches and chills for 6 hours. Then I got a high fever of 100.4 for a few hours. Then just very tired. The 3rd night I slept 10 straight hours. Feeling a bit better now. It did screw with my diabetes a bit. But nothing major. Worth it knowing I am protected from Covid somewhat.

Got my second Pfizer shot on June 8. I'm 39 and had COVID in April 2020. About 10 hours after getting the shot I had pretty bad chills and likely a fever at that point although I didn't want to get up to check. I fell asleep on the couch and during the time I was sleeping I got an alert on my Apple Watch that my heart rate was higher than normal. The following morning I tried doing a few ECGs with my Apple Watch and the results were inconclusive with a mildly higher resting heart rate. As I type this now I just did an ECG with a good sinus rhythm and rate of 83 BPM whereas Wednesday morning the rate was 102. Chills and confirmed fever lasted about 30 hours. A mild headache persisted for about the same time. By Wednesday morning (the day after the shot) I had a cough starting but didn't think much of it. As of now (Friday - 3 days after shot) the cough is getting pretty bad and very much like the cough I had with COVID. Very mild soreness in my arm.

Did you or anyone you know about if you are allergic to pencilling did they have the jab.
Many thanks As I'm allergic to it.
In the UK they ask if you are allergic to anything before giving you the injection and ask what meds you are on

I got given Pfizer no reaction in the first hour but at home I got bumps over my bicep where the vaccine had been taken similar to hives (so I presumed an allergic reaction) rang my doctor the next day and he said for my second dose I can have it at the hospital just as a precaution.

other than that no other symptoms other than a sore arm

Only reaction was a really sore arm around 6h after first shot and a mild headache that lasted through the day. The soreness in my arm lasted around 2 days.
No symptoms after second dose.

We went through Moderna including the second shot on July 30. I had serious mood swings with the first shot; Seriously heightened rage and depression that lasted days. Arm soreness, fever and headache too. Meanwhile, mom slept a day or so after the first shot, she had a little fever.

Second shot, I had arm soreness and a slight headache, where as mom was severely depressed, had worse aches and pains and arm soreness. These lasted about 36 hours.

Not sure if we caught that bad cold circulating around here or a mild form of Covid in mid July* (Cannot get tested as we do not drive), but thankfully we’re okay. *We stupidly permitted a physical therapist to come in for mom and the PT brought whatever that was in with her. We masked up, but the PT did not on last visit. So glad we’re okay.

Pfizer 1 on Mar. 11 - Got the shot around 1:15pm, Felt spaced out most of the night, the next day. Like a minor hangover. Arm soreness was the most annoying. Whole feeling lasted a day & 1/2

Pfizer 2 was yesterday. 12:30. Felt fine most of the day...no "foggy feeling" this time. But I started to feel a bit beat up last night around 7:30.

Tired, headache...some body aches, arm was much more sore, chills. I went to bed but woke up at 3am feeling awful! Soaked in sweat but no fever or nausea...just hurting all over. Took Tylenol and felt better after 45min, 1 hour. Started feeling terrible around 2pm today. Again took Tylenol. 5:30pm now I feel ok...just wiped out. Hope this subsides by tomorrow.

I'll live...and I'm grateful also. Im pretty darn sure this is far better than a hospital stay or a hooked up to a ventilator!
That 2nd shot took a lot out of me for about 3 days. But still no regrets.
*Still, the Tylenol really did help with body aches, feeling feverish (even though I did not have a fever)

Now...WHEN (not if I guess) a 3rd shot, booster is required maybe in late Fall, I'll get that also. And since 5+ months have passed since that 2nd shot, maybe the side effects will just be like the first shot? I have *no idea of course.

My main worry, anxiety right now are my nephews, niece. Ages 5, 7, 9.

A friend of mine got blood clots. (The doctor treating him at the clinic said they saw that side effect too often to be coincidence, but he thinks it is being censored too often to know how many). If they can prevent further problems for him though, he's going to be okay.

I doubt it’s being censored. All reported side effects are logged and are public information. Obviously people who experience side effects and don’t seek medical help will not be experiencing blood clots. That isn’t something you ignore or deal with. If we take Europe for example, 33 million people were vaccinated by the end of May with the AstraZeneca vaccine and 142 people were treated for clotting. It’s a super rare occurrence. In fact just 0.00043% of people vaccinated with that vaccine had clots. A smoker is far more likely to experience blood clots from their habit than any person getting vaccinated for example.

Unfortunately information is being misconstrued all over social media outlets. A friend of mine shared an anti vaccination post the other day which had thousands of comments. The source was from a doctor so this was being recited as gospel. After looking into this doctors credentials, I found he was a doctor of history and philosophy and graduated from Durham university. Most won’t look into the background of these sources and it is dangerous how impactful this misinformation can be.

Moderna (around early may)

first dose:

arm pain after 3 hours
slight sweating and a splitting headache the day after

second dose:

arm pain after 2 hours
muscle pain, sweating and splitting headache the day after

Not the best but not the worst vaccine I've ever had.

Both Pfizer shots went well here last March. Mild flu-like symptoms overnight. Looking forward to a 3rd booster, if that's recommended. With mutation variations increasing, the more protection the better.

I was against it at first but did my first shot and going in for my second on Saturday. It wasn't so bad with no symptoms. Scared of needles but I didn't pass out.

So I got both doses of Pfizer (First one was begin July and the second one 2 days ago)

First dose:

I was feeling fine for the whole day after vaccine

Arm pain after 20 hours
slight headache the day after

Second dose:

Same experience as the first dose

Chills and arm pain after 14 hours (luckily, it was midnight)
Tired, slight headache and weak legs the day after

All good now

Considering Florida is one of the worst states in the entire country right now with hospitals being maxed, better late than never in your case.

Got Phizer back in may was a bit lethargic after both and had some muscle soreness in my neck after the second. All of which may have had nothing to do with either vaccine.
And the obligatory sore arm I get after ever vaccine.

I got my 2nd dose of the Pfizer vaccine at the end of May, and only had mild fever symptoms. However, my skin has been breaking out like crazy. I've been to my PCP and dermatologist, and both are stumped. I've been trying different treatment options, but so far nothing has worked. I hope it clears up before I need my 3rd dose...
