Well at least you aren't rude. I appreciate that. Yes Occam's razor and all that.

"Meanwhile, the majority of users are using their devices happily without any issues, and that’s really what matters for them." Yeah but umm maybe they should care about others. CRAzY concept I KNOW! And how their issues could potentially affect them. As I showed many would be consumers of the newest Macbooks are very much in doubt about buying a new one. You guys seem to forget that fact.

If you heard the uproar over iPad bendgate last December, you would think that ipads were bending left and right if people so much as looked at them the wrong way.

It’s still early, but my iPad Pro is working great with no issues. This doesn’t mean the reports are untrue, but it doesn’t mean that every iPad out there shares the same problem either. If I listened to every single piece of criticism here, I can basically forget about buying any more Apple products for the rest of my life.

And the reality is that my Apple products are working great for me. My iPhone 8+, my Airpods (got the refreshed ones when they were released), my series 2 Apple Watch, my 2018 iPad Pro with Apple Pencil and Smart Keyboard. Every single product I owned has been the subject of intense criticism and overwhelming negativity here, and my experience with them could not be more divergent.

So again, while this doesn’t mean these comments are invalid, it goes to show that they are just that - comments made by a small but extremely vocal group of users who aren’t necessarily representative of Apple’s user base, or their experiences, in general.

There is basically no nuance here. Many an issue is blown out of proportion here and made out to be a bigger problem than it likely is. And it does get tiresome.

Technically they can if you backup iMessage to iCloud. And they provide these messages to law enforcement all the time.
Sources? Because every time I see an article
About some LEA trying to access an iPhone or idevice, Apple usually says no.
