I suppose if you hold the phone primarily in your right hand. I am left handed so it was an absolutely fantastic shortcut for me. Going back to double tapping the home button feels cumbersome. Its rather hard to use on the Plus models, but nice the smaller 4.7inch.
I am unfamiliar with these “severe bugs” of which you speak. I have nothing but good experiences with iOS 11I don’t get the praises for this guy. iOS 11 has some severe bugs and a lot of unoptimization, it’s like it was “good enough” just release it .
I am sorry you feel that someone is tracking you, however, if that is a concern, you still can go into the Settings application and disable WIFI. This will still turn off the radio, like it had in past.
I don’t really shop at department stores, and again, you can disable WIFI if you like from settings if you are worried about it.You’re not aware of department stores tracking wi-fi signals as customers enter and exit stores?

Huh, I wonder what the “constraint” was.
Yes, that's why it's back in iOS 11.1. It's all totally simple reasoning, as in the sense that it simply doesn't hold up.I think the reason is pretty simple. Apple wants you to hit that home button more and more. So that it will wear out and you will have to buy a new phone sooner. Cheap tricks. They have done this kind of trick in the recent past by disabling ‘touch home to unlock’ and forcing a ‘click home to unlock’

I'm with you on that, I just found out a (rather cumbersome) workaround. https://www.***************/3d-touch-multitasking-not-working-ios-11-iphone/Because it’s slow and loud. I toggle apps a lot and I don’t want be be CLICK CLICKing that button 500 times a day.
Home buttons haven't really been wearing out for a good while now (of course with some exceptions here and there, but certainly not any meaningful scale).Glad to hear that it's coming back! I just hope my home button lasts until that time.

Also, I know some people fear the breakage of home button so much, that they immediately turn on accessibility mode on a brand new phone!
