If it's a collectors item (i.e other people think it's cool) then I'm ok with it... If you aren't being serious then it's lame and I want a new one.

Sum it up? LOL

oh the horror, how will you sleep at night knowing that the text on the back of your phone is crooked, a back that you will probably observe twice a year?

It isn't very 'premium' though is it? Also, the fact that people are scared to exchange these in case they get an iPhone with dodgy pixels, light bleed, yellow tints, or loose buttons doesn't say much for Apple's build quality/QC.

Welcome to every mass produced consumer electronic that have screens. This is not unique to apple. The only reason you think this is because the people who have problems will speak up louder than those that don't, especially on a forum like this.

The printing being 2 degrees off crooked is even more ridiculous when everyone was crying about scuffs when the iphone 5 came out, keep your expectations in check and stop worrying about everything.

Mine MIGHT be crooked... I took the case off, looked briefly, and put the case back on. I didnt get out a ruler or anything. It bothers me so much that...

SQUIRREL!!

What was I talking about?

I have an appointment with the Apple Store tomorrow but I'm still unsure whether I want to swap it out. Like many of you have said, it's a lot worse to get a dead pixel or a discoloured screen than it is to deal with slanted text.

Also, this issue seems to be more prevalent than I thought. I did a search for this issue, and I think I found only one post on it for the iPhone 5, and none for the previous phones.

I think mine is slightly crooked on my 6 Plus as well now that I look closely.

I'll have to investigate further tomorrow when I'm not so tired to be sure.

Ahhhh!

I rather deal with crooked / slanted text than keeping getting phones that have other major problems to deal with. Just saying.

Got my iPhone 6 today, and noticed this right away when I turned the phone around. The text is crooked / slanted. Anyone else have this issue?

Dude, that's like a double printed stamp or coin.

It's worth millions. Put it in a bag, then take it to a safe deposit box.

Go get another phone, in the mean time. 5 years from now, sell this one as a one of a kind miss-print iPhone. Get all your money back.

Same here. Doesn't bother me too much but it's definitely odd

Fix your picture. It's got your EMEI on it.

The mod better shut down this thread if not it will start off another 'Crookedgate' and the New York Times, International business times and all the websites will make a huge deal out of it. Not only that, no doubt android fans will hop at any chance and laugh at iSheeps again.

No, just kidding. I just checked mine and it isnt crooked. But it seems that the majority of users here are affected and I can only consider myself lucky. Another scenario would be my eyes aren't sharp enough to detect the crooked words.

Even so, if my iPhone 6 has slightly crooked text behind, not to defend Apple but I'll probably just shrug it off since it will be in a case 24/7.

Unacceptable but it seems chances are if you return it is likely that you will get another with the same issue or worse. Apple seemed to have rushed the iphone 6 and ios 8.
I think maybe they should consider changing the launch month as well as extensing the ios cycle.

Could've avoided the problem with this. Could even have made it apple shaped instead of a perfect circle. iPhone 7?

I can't remember ever paying much attention to that text, going all the way back to my first iPhone in 2008. Take it back if it really bothers you, but honestly, when will you EVER see it?
