Hey I was looking around for some help with Counterstrike source. I got it installed on my crossover and what not however whenever I'm running around the fps lowers drastically and sometimes when I'm entering an area with a lot of enemies. I'm just curious if it is just my RAM. I have 1gb currently and will update to 2 or 3gbs if necessary however 2 should be more than enough.

Just help me out to find a way to help my problem. I'm playing it as we speak. heh.

I love Guild Wars, that's one of the very few big reasons I have windows on my wonderful mac. I freaking despise windows. Anyway the thought of not having to load windows to play my favorite game and then painstakingly restarting every time I have to do serious work and going back to osx seemed very very enticing indeed. so I look at the compatibility list and it's "untested" So I decide to "test" Guild Wars with crossover and report my findings to codeweavers. I try to run the setup and nothing happens. After clicking it 4 or times the installer launches. All's well and it downloads the files and the installation completes. The game launches and I have a blank screen. I try every mac trick in the book and nothing works. I am forced to hold down the power button to shut down and restart. OSX loads very slowly and I have a crapload of errors and a kernel panic. I had to boot into single user mode and repair all my disks and it seems to be working fine after that.

Just sharing my experience that be very very careful with this and don't automatically go around installing any app. that's so-called "untested" or you'll be sorry.
