Crucial 32GB DDR4 2400 for iMac27 issue

I got brand new iMac 27 2017 today with stock 8GB, and ordered Mac certified crucial memory 32gb.
When I try to boot up with both in (correctly installed) the iMac won't boot, when I put one or the other alone it boots as well. When I was running only 32 gb crucial the iMac suddenly shut down and do not want to boot again, with the crucial memory, boots only with the stock one.

I requested a refund for the crucial but I am now in a big trouble, as I need more ram and I am not confident anymore what to do. I do not want to buy 32GB from apple and pay 700 pounds.

Here is the Corsair Vengeance. I have the same in my new 27" i5 2017 iMac. I didn't have to move the Apple RAM around. Stuck the new Corsair in and it worked straight away.

What slots did you have the RAM installed in?

Returning the Crucial may not have been necessary.

While you may have gotten a bad module, there is zero reason to think that Corsair would serve you any better than Crucial. Crucial is the consumer division of Micron who make the Apple RAM.
