Crucial M4 new firmware

Can't apply the latest update using my early 2011 MacBook Pro 15-inch. The process gets stuck at "Finding Drives." For what it's worth, this is a brand new M4 that I received and installed today. I'm reading that many people with early 2011 MBPs are having this same issue. The drive came with firmware version 040H, so I'm not sure if it's worth going out of my way to apply this latest update.

Any ideas?

As you say many people are having the "Finding Drives"problem, and I don't know why I always seem to escape, but I would say I have not noticed any improvement for 070H so if 040H is not giving you any problems I wouldn't worry about it.

I'm running 010G and I can't update to 70H same issue here
