Kudos to whoever mentioned Buckaroo Banzai...I was going to post it! What about these...

Woody Allen's Everything You Ever Wanted To Know About Sex (but were afraid to ask)

Terry Gilliam's Brazil and The Adventures of Baron Munchausen

I LOVE Brazil, but can only stomach it every 5 years or so. Its visuals are great, but it's got some seriously DRAGGY parts.

Another vote for Rocky. Amazing how a reltively unknown actor could write a story and get his film made, and then for it to go on to be a big success. The subsequent Rocky films were Hollywoodized, but the original is a classic low budget cult classic. Yo Adrian!! Lol.:D

From Wikipedia

A cult film is a movie that attracts a small but devoted group of obsessive fans or one that has remained popular over successive years amongst a small group of followers. Often the film failed to achieve mainstream success on its original release, but this is not always the case. Sometimes the audience response to a cult film is somewhat different to what was intended by the filmmakers, although usually a film that becomes "cult" started out with unusual elements or subject matter.

Those dubbed Bud Spencer & Terence Hill (the Trinity Brothers) comedies of the 70s & 80s were riotous good fun, or so I thought at the time. Lots of stunt fights and slapstick.:D

Anyone ever seen Rubin and Ed starring Crispin Glover and Howard Hesseman?

No, but I do remember The Big Bus, which had Hesseman and many others, it was a spoof disaster movie from the mid 70s.:D
