62 and madly in love with my iPhone! :)

Hangin' out in line on Friday afternoon I saw folks of all ages -- some with grey hair, some young teens, many middle-aged. On my right was a guy who was mid-30's and on my left was a 17-year-old.

Actually, I think that the iPhone would have great appeal to some older people who have had trouble using regular cell phones -- it is so much easier to use and to see what you're doing when entering contacts, when making or receiving calls, etc.

Or if you are a smart kid like me (15), and get a job you are able to pay for that kind of stuff. :)
exactly. Most adults just assume that kids who have nice stuff are spoiled, not considering that some of us work hard to get the stuff we want instead ofdepending on our parents.

Yay for you! I can't get my mom to touch a computer. She has an old Nokia cell phone that we pay for since she has our kids a lot. It scares her.

I'm a gearhead and love computers and technology, but I never quite liked any of the cell phones I've had previously. Tiny little buttons, cumbersome operations.... The iPhone is sooo much easier to use and I suspect that a lot of older people, once they see one in action, will be interested.

41 and very happy with my purchase.
My 6 year old son loves using and playing with it as much as me and he figured it out so fast that it was almost a natural for him.
So I would say yes the interface is working.

Amen.

Most adults? How about all adults. It's unfortunate but almost everyone bases the majority of their decisions on assumptions due to a lack of information. For example, I'm 17 and drive a 2006 BMW 330i. Do my parents pay for it? Nope, I do and I work my ass off to pay for it too. Insurance ain't cheap for a 17-year-old driving a $50,000 car. I'll give you a hint: insurance alone is over $4,000/year (and I'm ticket and accident free).

19.

Agree with your points, if you're going to dive into such a big obligation with money, you should have the facts down and know your credit well enough.

In one lifetime I was 864 - I think my name was Methusalah back then.
In another I was 2. Sad story I don't want to talk about.
Now I'm 35, going on 902. Birthdays are fun.:(

EDIT:I never had any technology until this lifetime, but still no iPhone.
