Even if you're making a joke, if you have to go out of your way to try and replicate the issue, is it really an issue at all?
I can make the bars drop, very slowly, but haven't dropped a call yet.

Yeah...bars dropping isn't even really my concern. My 3GS would drop bars if I held it as well, but i never experienced data issues the way I do with the iPhone 4. So far, I haven't dropped calls either, but the data issue is very annoying.
