Deals: M1 iPad Air Hits Record-Low Prices at TigerDirect, Starting at $313.99 (48% Off)

This has to be a mistake. People are reporting on slickdeals that even those who were lucky enough to price match at Best Buy this morning are going to have their orders canceled by the "backend team" (unless they went to a store and actually walked out with the iPad).

I don't think I've ever seen a price drop this drastic from 3rd party sellers on a current gen product... Even if a new one is right around the corner... Still seems odd. But that being said.. I ordered 2 LOL
 
Order status changed to "pending review". I'm fully expecting it will be cancelled soon.
 
These prices are waaaay too good to be true. They have the 10th gen iPad for $224! That's considerably less than a used one goes for. Having said that I'm still tempted to get the 12.9 M2 Pro for $555. I could sell my 3rd gen for close to that. Hmmm.
 
I'm in the UK so not relevant to me but just checked out of curiosity and the prices are still up.

If this was here, I'd certainly say a mistake but why are the prices still live?

Wonder if they've been locked out of their own ecommerce site!?
 
I have TotalTech with Best Buy and in chat they wont price match due to it being shipped from a 3rd party warehouse.
 
Maybe this is Apple's way of ensuring they don't fall short on revenue for Q1. :) Pump out some stock to a reseller like Tiger Direct - 'Mislabel' the prices... Then work with the reseller to 'honor' the prices... then take the top-line bump.

I hope my order (48% off Silver M2 iPad Pro) isn't cancelled...

I bought one:) Wow this is the best discount in almost 30 years of following apple products I’ve ever seen! (On a current item).

You guys are all delusional that apple or TD will discount their latest gen hardware like this. All you doing is creating headache for yourselves to keep track of the credit card charge / refund.

Was just at the Best Buy in Southfield, MI. I tried to PM and pick one up these up today since TigerDirect is listed on Best Buy's price match guarantee page.

Manager Mike refused the PM and stating the reason as Tiger Direct has been hacked. I asked him if he knew that for sure since that is big and serious news to spread. He would not tell me how they know, but was willing to say it has been confirmed by Best Buy senior management.
