If you look at the deal via their app, it says they’re refurbs. They’re also selling Pros at 49 percent off.

I see new not refurb on the website.

Also, Best Buy isn’t going to sell at below cost so they won’t price match this time

... Tiger Direct has been hacked
Maybe the hacker went into the Tiger Direct CMS and changed the markup on all its products to 0%?

Are the discounted prices now being displayed on Tiger Direct what the resellers actually pay Apple for these products?

---

I generated a virtual card number via Capital One to use on Tiger Direct and locked 🔒 the virtual card after making the purchase in case the card gets compromised. 🤷 Regardless, all (most?) credit cards are protected against fraud.

Sadly not available where I live, or I'd buy one or even a couple just as family devices that will likely last a decade and stay great for any generic task.

I am reluctant about this. The price seems too good to be true, and when I was looking around it seemed like TigerDirect is not particularly reputable. Lots of negative reviews. Tempting, though.

The only reason I pulled the trigger is the fact that I ordered from TD Bank very regularly in the late 2000s and early 2010s and never had an issue.

Bought one. We will see if they honor the pricing. Seems like a great deal though. Thanks MacRumors for alerting us to this deal!

I ordered but didn't receive an order confirmation email.

Did anyone get an order confirmation email?

Thanks
Tim

Ordered a 256GB M1 iPad Air Starlight (says WiFi & 5G) for $391.99 with tax and shipping for $426. Then noticed people on here talking about the 128GB iPad Pro M2 for $400, so ordered one of those for $428 with tax, and tried to go back to cancel the Air, but cannot find a way to do it. Used PayPal for both, so we'll see what happens. Also took screenshots that show these are listed as NEW, so if I get some kind of beat up refurbs, I have a case to file with PayPal for refund.

Now patiently waiting...

$707.99??? 😲

Apple 13.3" MacBook Pro (2022) - Apple M2 chip w/ 8-Core CPU, 10-Core GPU, 16GB Unified Memory, 512GB SSD, 2560x1600 Retina Display, 2x Thunderbolt/USB 4, WiFi, macOS Monterey, Space Gray - Z16R0005U

$849.99??? 😲

Online retailer TigerDirect has slashed pricing on the M1 iPad Air in several colors, offering the base 64GB configuration for just $313.99https://www.tkqlhce.com/click-462641-12637418?url=https://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=1273774&CatId=11944 in Purple and Pink.

That's a savings of 48% compared to Apple's normal $599.00 pricing, and is by far the lowest price we've ever tracked for these current-generation models. Both models are listed as in stock and should ship the next business day.

For those who prefer cellular connectivity, the 64GB M1 iPad Air is similarly discounted to $391.99 from $749.00 in Purple and Pink. The Starlight color option is also listed at this price but described as "available for pre-order" and thus not in stock for immediate shipping. The Starlight model also requires a $9.99 shipping fee, whereas the other colors come with free shipping.

If 64GB isn't enough storage, TigerDirect is also heavily discounting some cellular 256GB models down to $469.99 from $899.00. This pricing is available in Blue, Purple, and Pink, but as with the Starlight 64GB cellular models, these configurations are listed as available for pre-order and will incur a $9.99 shipping fee.

With discounts this steep, we can't rule out the possibility that this is a pricing error and orders could be canceled by TigerDirect, but this is an excellent opportunity for those willing to take a chance on a fantastic deal on the current iPad Air. For those unfamiliar with TigerDirect, it is a longtime computer retailer that was merged with MacMall and which also absorbed online assets and operations of notable now-defunct brick-and-mortar retailers Circuit City and CompUSA.

I haven’t seen anyone mention it yet, but they also have the iPad Pro 12.9” 128gb 6th gen for $555.99. Silver & Space Grey.

I couldn’t resist! Hope this is real.

MacBook Pro is half off...

I know what's going on. Due to last quarter's Mac sales being down 28.66% year-over-year and missing analyst estimates ($7.74 billion vs. $9.63 billion estimate), Apple (through TigerDirect) is having a major sale to drive demand.

I mean, it worked for Tesla. 🤣
