Figured it’ll either get canceled, or by a miracle it’s true I’ll keep the MacBook Air configuration I like best and return the others unopened.

Did try at local Best Buy now. Had two safari windows open and guy asked to help. Asked it he would price match and he saw TD and said no. I said on your site says specifically you match them. Didn’t convince him. Said they will match their normal prices at TD but not this fire sale.
“We’ll match it as long as we’ll match it. That’s what this policy read as when I read it.”

Pretty sure they got hacked and all of these orders will be cancelled.
Probably true. IANAL but I recall from my business law class way back when that advertisements are not binding offers but are instead “invitations to make an offer” to a merchant who can still reject it.

Wow, wonder if an employee went rogue and slashed everything. I hate not living in the US today!

IIRC that is true. At any rate, most sites "fine print" allow for cancelling orders that are the result of pricing errors. What is odd is AppleCare+ is also discounted by roughly the same percentage.

I ordered a yellow 10th generation iPad for $225. Had to join the crowd. We’ll see what happens. :) Not holding my breath.

I wouldn't blame Best Buy for anything except maybe pathetic lies about hacking and other nonsense.

Uh-huh...
Go into the store. I did. Here’s my receipt. (Sorry I wanted to black out anything that displayed my payment info) Got $295 in the form of a gift card for my trade in of my 2018 11 inch. My out of pocket cost for the iPad Pro M2 11 inch 256gb was $190. Was $444 off the retail price. My dad went in right after and got the 12.9 for $550. Traded in a 2016 iPad Pro, and a 2018, got $560 in credit.

I tried that a couple of hours ago. Think my experience is on the last page. They denied me. Wish I’d been quicker to the trigger and ran in as soon as I saw the MR article. Didn’t even occur to me until later. Glad you were able to get yours matched!!!!!

Was about to pull the trigger on an M2 MacBook Air (16 GB RAM, which is a custom configuration), until I noticed this in their Return Policy:
Apple Computer Products. Apple products are non-returnable: Apple Computer offers a one year warranty on all new equipment. During the warranty period, you may call 1-800-275-2273 to receive warranty service. Apple will attempt to solve your problem via phone. If they are unable to solve the problem, they will either dispatch a replacement via Airborne Express or will direct you to the closest Apple service center. In most cases, contacting the 800 number is the most expedient manner to obtain warranty service on Apple equipment. If a situation extends beyond Apple or an Apple service center's ability to resolve, please contact your sales representative for further guidance.

No returns or refunds will be made for items that are special ordered for you or for unusual custom configurations of systems.
Given BestBuy's claims from previous comments that this may be a third-party reseller, wondering what if these are refurbished/returned products that a third-party reseller is trying to get rid off (potentially with Activation Lock still left on)? Decided to pass.

If any of us get lucky, I highly advise you video the entire opening of the package and go to Settings > General > About during the video. If one of us ends up getting a model different than advertised, it will be a lot easier to prove and get a refund. I paid with PayPal just in case there is a problem as they are good defending the buyer.

Speaking of, has anyone ever ordered from TigerDirect? What’s your experience?

I used my Apple Card, which I would think would also be pretty good if there’s some funny business. Are you thinking these could be earlier versions and they just pictured it wrong on the website?

Wish non-US shoppers did not fraud that hard. Makes the lives of non-US legit shoppers so damn difficult.

I have to call em to verify that I'm an actual person. When Google Hangouts was still available that allowed for free calls into the US.

Order a 11in M2 pro and 10th gen iPad. Guessing it doesn’t ship but if I have any issues, I used my Apple Card. They’ve been pretty good in the past.

Yes, or an employee screwed up and our orders get cancelled. I learn toward the former.

I have a 2020 11" iPad Pro which has been excellent for me. If they cancel me, I haven't lost anything

If they cancel our orders, I wonder what kind of leg to stand on we have. Probably none but I wonder if you fight hard enough of they’ll still give it to you.
