My 2011 MBA came with 256GB storage.

Back then I thought by now a base model MacBook would start at 2.56TB storage.

I'm just disgusted with the whole pathetic oligopolistic Mac/Windows AMD/Intel pretend competition industry.

Oh well, nothing I can do as a relative peasant.

Except refuse to buy their expensive junk.

And I do refuse to buy it.

Apple trying to force me to upgrade by dropping support for my MBA didn't work.

When it becomes a severe enough security risk I'll just flash it to Linux.

I'm not giving Apple another $2000 for a new machine that fundamentally gives me nothing new but dark mode lol.

Same goes for my iPhone.

Need some advice on the 13” MacBook Pro. Best Buy has the 8 GB ram with 256gb for $1099. B and h will price match it meaning no taxes. I know about the keyboard issues. Is it still worth buying? What about the serious lack of ports? I mostly need it for web, email, keeping track of my wife’s business expenses type of stuff. Not much else besides importing photos and some Lightroom once in a while so I don’t need all the bells and whistles. Thanks.
