i don't think so... it said, i have purchased the bundle, but didn't get any email confirmation.

what happens if i buy the bundle again, would they refund the money back?

Do you have a MacUpdate account? Log-in and check your receipt. If no receipt, then do it again. I did see on the FAQs that you can get a refund/charge-back on dupe orders.

I'm having no luck with the payment. First time it crashed when it was processing the payment. Logged in but no receipt, so i tried again but it came up with an error "transaction cannot be processed".

It seems that it did go through after all as a receipt is showing up in my profile although I haven't got any emails to confirm this. like others have said, may be that their servers are busy etc. Bedtime!

Help with Marine Screen Saver

I bought the package, everything installed great but marine screen saver, I dragged it to the apps and the screen saver icon to the library/screensavers folder, but I don't see it under system pref screen saver list??? Anyone have any ideas, thanks!

Okay, just got to the FAQ page.

Q: Double Charged - I was double charged. What do I do?
A: Email macupdate (-at-) macupdate.com with the following information: Your login email address, first & last name, and receipt number if you have it. We'll cancel or reverse your duplicate charge.

Q: Support Tickets - How do I create a support ticket with MUPromo?
A: Email support (-at-) macupdate.com

If you can't get the purchase to work, I'd try emailing to BOTH of those addresses.

Good luck all, gotta run! :)

It's back. I had to try a couple of times to successfully log
into my macupdate account, but once I got in, payment
(via paypal) went smooth.

This bundle is nowhere near as good as the last bundle,
but figure I'd give Rapidweaver, Xslimmer, and Forklift a whirl.
If nothing else, I get Marine Aquarium, the coolest
screensaver ever, and help support macrumors and some starving devlopers
to boot.

I got it to work by closing it, once or twice... and entering in "private" as the organization.. then clicking madly. It finally registered. Strange, must be a glitch with the Java register splash page.

A-ha! Works for me too. The trick appears to be the word "private".

How'd you figure that out? Whatever. Many thanks indeed!

$25 to upgrade to the latest version isn't that bad when you got Tech Tool Pro for a few dollars.

Yeah... I was tempted to go for the MacHeist just for Tech Tool Pro, but didn't for some reason. Now I seriously regret it. I hope the next software bundle includes apps as good as those were. These apps aren't bad from the looks of them, but I know that I won't find much use out of any of them.

I can't make sense of the RapidWeaver application at all.

Since I'm interested mostly in Yep and Rapidweaver, there may not be much of a point if I can't even figure this out. iWeb may be just as good for me, except it doesn't have the flash slideshow thing.

It sounds crazy, but I may just buy Yep for $39 and not bother with the MacUpdate bundle for $49. Paying $10 for apps I'll never use is a waste of $10.

i bought it for YEP and Rapidweaver. i hope i can make sense of rapidweaver.

anyway, istabilize could be great for my movies shot with my P&S camera.
pulp motion is a great toy to play with.
and swiftpublisher could be of great use to me next year.

the aquarium is nice but a waste of time.

i use fetch so i don't see myself using forklift but i'll give it a try.

YEP is so great that i think about a second license for my powerbook. maybe i wait for the next update though.

seriously, with intaglio, pixelmator, swiftpublisher, rapidweaver, iwork, smultron, ilife, graphic converter you get all you need for your private computing needs for less than $200. maybe a simple wordprocessor and a simple database are missing.

Weaver questions

i've been playing around with the rapid weaver demo trying to decide if i should get it....

it looks like a great way to build a site without having to screw around with html. but....

1. i wish more of the templates allowed for color editing, i could only find a few of them.

2. i get that it's supposed to be simple and intuitive, but it'd be nice if some of the layouts could be edited at little at least....

3. considering how little they can be edited, it doesn't seem like there's that many templates.
i get that you can buy more, but still.....

Are these bundle offers open to everyone or just residents of the United States? There doesn't seem to be clear information on who these offers are open to.

I'm in Australia and was able to buy the bundle if that helps...

any clues as to what surprise to expect from the extension of the bundle?

more software?! i'm crossing my fingers!!!

Has anyone else noticed that the serial number for YEP is missing when you view the "receipt" section on your macupdate account? Or is it just me?

EDIT: Just noticed this on FAQ page

Q: Missing Yep! serial - All of my serials are in my receipt except Yep.
A: At the end of each business day, we'll be adding in Yep serials for accounts missing them. The Yep serial number generator is a bit weak, so it's not always completing the process. Fear not, we will get you the serial.
