Decision: JB or Matte

Yes there are a ton of threads but I'm in the store trying to decide. Both phones have good build and feel.

Either selection will be cased immediately. No question there.

In the next 15 min I need to make a decision. Space? Right now they only have JB 128 GB and Matte both sizes. My preference is 256GB. The nearest store is 1 hour drive away.

Y'all have 15 min to help me make up my mind. Go!

Well if you want the 256GB get black - I'd prefer Jet Black but if it's not in the size you want then no big deal, both are great.

Went matte here. Wanted JB but by the time I can get one might as well wait for 8. Figure matte will work and function just as well as JB.

My matte 256 plus should be here tomorrow
 
What do YOU like? Get what you prefer.

If having 128gb instead of 256gb is that big of a deal, just get the matte.

And for everyone saying matte and jet black look the same with a case on, I hope you guys know transparent cases exist.
 
Fingerprints & hairline scratches suck :oops: If it were my decision it would be matte black for sure!
 
JET BLACK, it will look better for dark mode in next update or jailbreak

And it's more of a collection item, Black is black, Jet Black is special, it even comes with a special box
 
To be honest to all:

I do like both phones. So getting either or is fine. But since I'm getting a case for it regardless, it puts me to think the need for JB. Any thoughts? Almost time to go to the Specialist.

Nice choice, before you leave the store though go take a look at the Jet Black phones on display and see how fingerprinted / scratched up they are to know you made the right call :D
 
JB in an Apple black leather case here and I'd do it again.

Yeah, with a case, you don't see much of the glossy black, but when you do it's really attractive (my opinion) and I also suspect that Apple's not likely to do it again next year - too many complaints and returns. I wanted to have the fun of experiencing it before (I suspect) it's gone.

At the end of the day, it's a totally personal choice.

No, they'll refine the process. Make it better and more efficient and more easily obtainable
 
No offence to the jet black owners out there and after all this is purely subjective, but I think the JB looks cheap and it scratches easier. So that's 2-0 to the matt black finish.
