I also choose a Brown Leather case. Combination looks awesome.
It doesn't scratch easierNo offence to the jet black owners out there and after all this is purely subjective, but I think the JB looks cheap and it scratches easier. So that's 2-0 to the matt black finish.
To be honest to all:
I do like both phones. So getting either or is fine. But since I'm getting a case for it regardless, it puts me to think the need for JB. Any thoughts? Almost time to go to the Specialist.
Just hope to god you dont look at the finish in broad daylight. It will ruin your day if you got OCDIt doesn't scratch easier
And it looks cheap in pictures, but when you hold and feel the device in person it doesn't
So those 2 points you just "won" I'll happily take them back
How about neither of the above? I had the MB 7, and I found it boring. There have been black iphones since the dawn of iPhone. Matte or glossy--who cares? They're both black, and they're both boring.
I have, visible scratches everywhereJust hope to god you dont look at the finish in broad daylight. It will ruin your day if you got OCD
I have, visible scratches everywhere
this will look like the mirror iPod by New Year
not really.if you get MB and put a glossy skin on it, the black will almost appear JB
Jet black is for people going caseless.
not really.
Well, majority in this thread said Matte, went with that @ 256 GB.
Puts thing in perspective when your phone has the same storage as your Mac.
There's nothing wrong with it. Get whatever you like.I disagree.
What's wrong with using iPhones of other colours without a case?
What's wrong with using a jet black with a case?
I got the MB because after pondering it for quite some time I come to realize MB was going to WORK just as well as JB and WORK is most important thing for me. Realized it just wasn't worth waiting until next year for JB.![]()
But if you're just going to keep your phone in a non-clear case, jet black and matte black will look exactly the same. So why buy the color that scratches much easier?
