If anybody is really worried about their serial number, characters 6-8 are what make the number really unique to your phone. The rest are simply lookup codes for factory, year, week, model. You can change characters 6-8 to "XXX" and get the same information from the lookup services.

Weird, I ordered a 64GB iPhone 6s Plus Space Gray but it's showing up as 128GB on the website. Ordered 2 iPhone 6s as well and those information seems accurate.

What are the last four characters in your serial number? That would be the code for the model number.

I ordered a 64GB and it's showing 128GB too. One can dream, but most likely a decode error.

I am super stoked to land a Zhengzhou phone. I or my family had 7 different 6 or 6+ phones during the last year and the Shenzhen phones consistently had some minor defect--loose home button, vibration button with play, camera lens not quite aligned.

I'm hoping that holds up this time (not that the Shenzhen phones are bad, but that the Zhengzhou QC continues to be excellent.)

Cannot get the link to work. must be over loaded. I am guessing I also have a Zhengzhou phone as that is where the shipping is originating from.
