I got the blue comming, should be here tomorrow and will post pics ASAP

That would be great. I returned the Draco case for the vapor pro silver/silver and getting it tomorrow since is local. Also got lucky today at bestbuy and grab a white 64gb. Depending how yours will look I might buy another one by the end of the month. Please give us your review on the reception, fit and the rattling on the volume buttons.

I bought mine from IGearUSA here in LA. My buttons hardly rattle at all. Weird. I read from some other poster to put tape on the back of the buttons, so I did. Works great. For now. Maybe I'm just lucky. Tight fit, sleek look. Seriously, with the 20% off coupon posted here, thinking of getting another one.

I shouldn't have to put tape on an $80 case to make it fit correctly. I understand some might do that but I'll continue my quest for a sleek, well engineered aluminum case. My DRACO is being returned.

You're right, you shouldn't. Never said you should. That's just what I did by choice.

I wouldn't pay $80 either. I paid $60 all in from IGearUSA for black after a 20% off coupon. That's the only reason I got a it. You should definitely return yours.

This case looks so sleek in the Ads but is always shown at various angles...now, looking at the case face on I have to say it really looks kind of "Off". The right side of the case (front facing) just looks out of proportion and seems to stick out whereas the left side is slimmer, I presume due to accommodate the mute/volume buttons.

For all current owners: Is my assessment of the case correct or are these also pictures that don't do justice to the overall look of the Draco?? Comments are greatly appreciated.

Btw...how is IgrearUSA's customer Service? I emailed them a question last week as to whether they have a showroom @ their Walnut, CA office where local customers can view the Draco line. I have not heard back from them yet. I asked as Power Support (screen protectors) have a small selection of products @ their Burbank office so that consumers can walk in & buy.

I haven't see anything about a showroom. I think they're just web based. It is our of proportion, that's the charm. I'm really digging it. Cool case. There are a ton of user-taken pics here on Macrumors as well as a great review on GadgetMac. I'd look at that stuff. Draco's site pics may mis-represent the case. Look more like car pictures. I based my decision off the user comments and GadgetMac, as well as YouTube reviews. So far, I'm not disappointed. That said, use the 20% off coupon listed on MacRumors and save yourself a few bucks from IGearUSA. Don't pay retail IMO.

On pictures you are looking at a 2d image, once you get it you or anybody you show it too it's going to see it as a 3D with all his cool and sexy curves not only just the front, the sides or the back.

Why are all of the aluminum bumper cases shaped so differently on each side? I haven't seen a single aluminum bumper that is shaped traditionally or the same on the left and right. With that being said I do like how round this one is and am still considering it.

That's not true. There are a bunch that are what you are referring too. Case Mate's Jet is one that is traditional as well as others. Google Aluminum Bumpers. I also think up on GadgetMac.com there are a bunch of reviews. IMO, The Draco is just the most unique and sleek, but everyone has their preferences.

DON'T BUY Deff Cleave!!!

DO NOT BUY THIS: I just got two. Make no mistake, pretty shape, light, tough.
BUT TWO BIG PROBLEMS:

- firstly I have at least 6 iPhone connectors for the main connector, at least half of those are official Apple products, and NONE of them fitted through the hole in this bumper. Even the SendStation extender/adapter which is designed to solve this problem did not fit through the depth of this bumper. That's a show-stopper, as it takes minutes to remove the case.

- secondly to fit the bumper, even with screws and side piece removed, requires a slight bending of the bumper larger piece and slide onto phone, which is prone to GOUGE DEEP SCRATCHES in the edges of your iPhone. Even after I noticed this and was super careful it's very hard to avoid. Even with the foam cushions fitted.

- also the buttons rattle which is annoying.

Shame, really like the look, and it is light, and shows the back of the phone.

Also keep in mind, these must be ordered specifically for iPhone 4S or 4, they are not the same as mute button moved slightly.

Nope, fits iPhone 4 and 4s

Sounds like you bought a knock-off. Did it come in the Draco box? Here's what mine looked like and I don't have any of the problems you have.

Really debating on getting this or the Neo Hybrid EX 2.

I had the SGP Neo Hybrid. After a few months it seemed as though the black silicone started to get loose. Maybe that was just for me. Great case, but a bitch to put on. Super tight fit. I actually broke one frame trying to get it on. But that's my fault because I switched cases a few time, probably weakened the dock connector area (it's very thin). That said, both cases are so different. Both really nice IMO.

Mine has finally arrived. :) This thing is truly one of a kind. I can't stop starring at it. Such a pretty thing. Everything works and I don't have buttons rattling like some folks have pointed out, but I've noticed the mute switch wiggles left and right a little, which I suspect was intentional to accommodate both 4 and 4s variants. Nothing to complain about.

Red one went to my old gsm 4 and the black one went to 4s. Both were fitted perfectly. Red looks way better in person than in pics and honestly looks better than black and I may have buyer's remorse.

Signal strength wise, I hate to say this, but it appears to have taken a hit. About a 5 - 10dB loss as opposed to w/o it. This is only preliminary as I had limited time to walk around in one confined area. I will see how the strength varies in other locations. Being able to boast my sexy new bumper to my co-workers and buddies in addition to moderately protecting the phone far outweighs the loss of strength of signal hence I will not be getting rid of this bumper any time soon. :D

Will upload some eye candy later on. Overall very happy w/ the purchase. Tekcases' prompt shipping was also spot on.

I can confirm as well that the case does cause some signal loss, I am seeing 10-12 db loss on my 4s. Which means I can't use it in my apartment right now until AT&T fixes the cell issues in our area. (-102 dbm:mad:) Causes me to loose my data and text messaging does not work. But when I travel I am popping this baby on. Love it too much and it feels great plus the dark navy blue, on a black phone looks really good. So its off to get a case for around the house and day to day usage. Great Case just wish I did not have cell site issues.

Do you think you can post up pictures of the red one? I currently have a red 4 and was thinking of getting the black but I have never seen the red in live shots.

I got the blue comming, should be here tomorrow and will post pics ASAP

Any chance of posting ASAP??

I'm ready to pull the trigger for my black 4s but having the hardest time deciding on Ltd Ed White, Midnight Blue or regular blue! The recent pix on gadget w/ black 4s/white combo look awesome but I'm partial to darker cases on my phones & I find the black case to be too bland.

Thx. Jake

Nice pictures and thank you for sharing. I really love that this case but returned it for bad reception and exchange for the vapor pro silver/silver and have not lost any bars at all. Not even WIFI
