aww i forgot monday is a holiday...hope my cases are able to get here by friday i just did USPS priority mail

Anyone with Verizon: Are you having any troubles checking the status of your preorder? As in, following the link in the confirmation email and then entering the information?

If not and you haven't been checking using this method, how are you seeing the delivery date in real time (as in, opposed to looking at my delivery date in the email)

use the preorder confirmation number instead of the order number and it works.

Man do I feel like a loser. Ordered at 3:40 am ET on launch morning, saw the slip to the 21st yesterday, changed my order to the 32gb, got the confirmation for the 14th. Boasted about my smarts on this very board.

Now even that has slipped to the 21st (and doesn't seem to be moving back), when it sounds like my original order would have been put back to the 14th.

**facepalm**

yeah shouldve kept the original order. I was about to change mine myself, but I told myself that with all that delay and the fact that I orded at 3am, I'm sure Apple made more than enough iphone stock to cover at least the preorders at 3 in the morning

I'm pretty sure it's just a combination of website glitches, and it shows 10/21 for people who are preordering now. The first batches should be shipped out for people who preordered when it said 10/14, and for people who order now, they will wait another week.

Yeah I never changed mine or even thought about it. I knew it had to be a glitch. I ordered mine at like 2:55am and knew that I had to be in the first batch of shipments. I am glad that mine now shows 10/14/11 again. Excited to get my first iPhone. Now I need to decide on a case/bumper.

Okay just checked and now mine is back to "We received your order and it is in process. Expected Ship Date: 10/14/2011"...

Better..

so...

does this mean it will ship ON 10/14 or it will be DELIVERED on 10/14...hmmmm

My white 16GB is back to 10/14 as well. :D

Glad I didn't have a nervous breakdown and cancel my order to camp out in front of a store on Friday.

Oh yeah =)

I have a strong feeling we get em Wednesday or Thursday! Verizon sent out preorders days early on the 4 from what I have read. Some as much as 3 days early. I hope not setting my self up for disappointment, but we should see them Friday at the latest.

well what can I say.

Thats Verizon for you. Always fing you over in the end and providing crappy information...

As a whole, Verizon had the best preorder experience. Was there a slight glitch? Yeah. But at least you could order one. *points to ATT and Apple*

In all, the original info was correct, orders were able to be taken when Verizon announced, and orders will be fulfilled by the original declared date. But, you're right, Verizon was totally at fault there
