To those who did not get the 9/21 delivery date, can we get a consensus on your order info?

I'm still hoping my deliver date will change :(

I preordered mine on verizonwireless.com today and my delivery is set for 9/28/12. If they havent charged my card yet I will probably cancel it and go to Verizon on the 21st.
 
I ordered a 16GB black AT&T model from Apple at around 7:00AM EST. October 5th delivery date. I'm now looking at buying one from a local AT&T on launch day if they have any stock left.
 
I just canceled my order so someone out there with a black iphone 5 16gb is gonna get there order on release date. =P
 
Delivery date: 8th October :( I'm in the UK so delivery may be slightly slower.

I really hope this improves... I must've missed the Sept 21st deadline by no more than 30 minutes. I find it hard to believe that 17 days worth of backlog was ordered in the space of that time!

I think either we will receive faster shipping than expected, or some people who were supposed to get launch day deliveries will get pushed back, because at the moment, these October dates don't make sense.

Ordered about 5:50 Central time. Black 64. Would like it sooner, but no big deal as I have a couple trips anyway to help pass the time . . . stlll better than the type of lines we will have at our local stores! Just hoping the Oct 5 date is accurate and not just a guess.

I'm hoping it ends up getting bumped up to only a week or so after launch as opposed to two.
 
I ordered 6:30 am EST on launch day and mine says Otc 5th delivery :( I hope that changes. It did not allow me to select in store pick up for the 21st
 
What I don't understand is there are those who clearly preordered after me and still get 9/21/12 delivery date :confused: Is it because of the model I selected or is it because I'm switching from AT&T to Verizon?

Yeah it's a little surprising to me also. I don't recall in the past there being such a big gap between the initial launch day shipment and the second group. Just going by Apple store orders if you didn't get it in the first 45 minutes for a 21st delivery, the next earliest I've seen is Oct 2nd, which is actually my delivery date. I just don't see how there are no deliveries between the 21st and 2nd (just talking about directly from Apple).

I ordered 43 minutes after preorders started so I realllllllly hope I get a similar e-mail to the above. I think I literally missed the "cutoff" by mere minutes/possibly even seconds. I'm not too amused with the 10/5 delivery date I'm seeing :(
