Anyone else finding it a little sickening that people who ordered at 3:50am EST on Friday are GETTIG the same delivery date as those who are ordering as late as today? It's gotta be a wrong. I'll wait to see what Monday and Tuesday brings via apple

It is a little frustrating because had I known that would have been the case I would have just slept in.. instead of waking up at 3:05 and not be able to get a order through til 3:54. But either way I'm still hopeful that us early October babies receive it the week after launch (24-28th)

I'm pretty optimistic that those of us who ordered early on the 14th will see the delivery date bumped up within the next three or four days. If we're being quoted the same date as people who ordered today then they probably are still sorting out just how many phones they'll have available to ship a week from now.
I ordered 43 minutes after preorders started so I realllllllly hope I get a similar e-mail to the above. I think I literally missed the "cutoff" by mere minutes/possibly even seconds. I'm not too amused with the 10/5 delivery date I'm seeing
Heck, right before I hit submit, it said deliver on 9/21. Then I got my email confirmation showing 10/3. Quite annoyed.
I may go to my local VZW store and if I Can get one, then I'll cancel my order.
I ordered 64 gig black Verizon. I guess that makes a difference. Odd you will get yours one to two weeks earlier tho, ordering a day later
Ordered mine at 1:08AM PST and have an Oct 5th delivery date. I think I was one of the first people to miss the cut.

You won't get anything from Apple if you ordered through AT&T.
No. October 5th delivery date (16GB, AT&T, ordered through Apple App) and I haven't seen any Apple charges.
placed my order at 3:53est...even got confirmation email saying it would be delivered on the 21st!
now if i go online and check my status it says oct 5th
i know i sound like a little baby..but its not fair that people who ordered the next morning are now getting theirs launch day and people who woke up in the middle of the night are getting screwed

Which of the retail stores are open the earliest? I know Verizon stores open at 8am.

i went to radioshack today and preordered one...but they couldnt tell me if it would be in on the 21st or not..
if i dont see any changes on my apple.com order i will cancel it so I can use my upgrade either at radioshack or in the apple store on launch day..(really didnt want to wait in line though...)

I only see a pending charge of 1.00 for the authorization. Ordered around 8am EST on 9/14 and currently shows 10/5 delivery.

That's funny...I ordered on sept 14th at 530 am est time and mine is for oct 9th ...gotta love it lol

Confirmation email 12:54am PST (3:54EST).
Order status says delivers Oct 5th via standard shipping.
Hard to believe they ran out in 54 minutes. I'm assuming the date will get moved up.
