I have yet to see anyone here or on r/applewatch post about the 38mm space gray sport being prepared for shipment. I placed the order at 3:01 am EST via Apple Store app & Apple pay. Has anyone been charged for this model yet?

I've seen a couple of these. Far more 42mm, though.

So has anyone who ordered two watches got both watches at preparing for shipment? I'm wondering if Apple are enforcing some kind of one per-household thing?

I preordered two White Aluminum Sport models, 38mm and 42mm, seconds apart from each other. Same address, same card, both are "Preparing for Shipment."

Quick question, I ordered a SG Sport that was email confirmed at 2:01. Apple tried charging me but my card's fraud protection forced it to decline. I promptly called my bank and Apple and had the payment situation fixed. My watch now says preparing for shipment, but will that previous payment problem make my shipment delayed even though it is fixed now? Also, to anyone who doesn't have "preparing to ship" or a charge yet, I would recommend contacting your bank to make sure the charge didn't slip. Thank you all!!!

I'd say you're good

I feel like Apple will be charging in batches for the next several hours. They're Apple and all but they still have to space out charges so that they don't overwhelm their credit card processing system. Hopefully we'll continue to see orders being charged as the evening goes on.

Anyone in the Boston area get a charge for a 42in SS black sports band yet or a status change? Got a confirmation email at 3:02am est

Not in Boston (Southern California here) but I have yet to see a stainless steel with black sports band ship yet. That is what I ordered as well 42mm. Reply to me if you see a change on your order!

You should check your bank account and see if the charge has appeared there, the watch wouldn't go from processing to preparing for shipment without a successful transaction.

Just out of curiosity, where does everyone live that hasn't been charged for a 42mm SG? I'm in Nashville. I wonder if this is regional based on shipping hub.
