Location: Monterey CA

42mm SG Black band Ordered at 12:02 am = Processing

38mm Silver White Band Ordered at 12:08 am = Preparing for shipment

Both with 4/24-5/8 delivery stamp

Nashville here, and my Amex was charged around 4:30pm. I had the SS with classic buckle, and the wife had Sport with white band though.

Just as an FYI - on past pre-orders I've had my stuff ship out of a hub in Mt. Juliet, as well as one in Milan, TN out near Memphis.
 
Northern California. 42 mm SS Milanese Loop. Confirmation email at 12:02am. Preparing for Shipment. Hope I can get Sports band in store on Friday.
 
It's now preparing for shipment!!!

So excited, you don't even know!!! Here is a screenshot. My bank also now has the charge as processing so Apple has taken the money out for the watch. BTW...No email from Apple as of yet on the status change for my order.

I ordered space grey & I got my payment charged at 4:01pm & right after it changed to preparing for shipment
 
anyone with 42mm Sport SG in Northern Cali got charged? I ordered @12:01am but no movement on my shipping status neither any charges
 
Ordered 3 Apple Watch Sports

I ordered 3 Apple Watch Sports in the 42mm, 2 White and 1 Space Grey. The White ones changed to "Preparing for Shipment" while the Space Grey is still "Processing". The weird thing is that I placed 3 separate orders all within the first three minutes of the pre-order going live. They all received the 4/24-5/8 date. I actually placed the Space Grey order first, yet it is the last one to change status. So either they are shipping in random batches, or the Space Gray 42mm Sport is in short supply and shipping later than the other options. I will re-post once the Space Grey changes status.
 
Just got off the phone with Apple, to make sure nothing is wrong with my card. He said that everything is fine and I had a good order time and date slot. He also said people in that first date window are the ones they are pushing for Friday delivery.
 
My order is time stamped 3:04 est 4/24 - 5/8, SS 42 mm black sports band, still no charge or change in status wtf!!!!
