Has anybody who hasn't had their status changed from processing been pinged a pending charge in full for the watch? I need to know because my status hasn't changed but a recent (full) pending charge is sitting on my account and I'm still on processing.
What time did the transaction show up? And where are you located?
When I was charged, it took about 20 minutes for my status to change.
Kind of. Was charged, it turned to "preparing," but then reverted back to "processing" several hours later. Charge is still pending.
42 mm SS white sport band. Seems like everybody this happened to ordered the same Watch
Apple Pay initially screwed up my order when I used it, it's a long story but basically the card I used ended up not being charged at all when the initial batch of watches went out earlier in the day and I needed to input the card information manually on the website — it showed up on my card minutes later. I'm still not sure what happened but for some reason the card I used didn't get any charges at all from Apple, so I have no clue where Apple tried to charge me initially.
No status change despite the pending full charge, but I did this around 10pm last night, so I'm hoping progress will change on it today but I'm not sure.
Same with me. Rep agreed with me that the token might have expired when they went to charge the card. I did it as soon as I could, and was "Preparing for Shipment" an hour later. 38mm Blue Sport btw
I'm glad I wasn't alone in that, not that I'm glad it happened to us but I felt like I was the only one with that issue. Apple Pay has a lot of kinks to iron out.
I wasn't able to get home to fix the payment information until a few hours after I got the email I hope that isn't too late to not get a launch-day watch.
Yeah seems like an inventory allocation issue. Probably waiting until the next batch from MFG.
Just woke up after 11 hours of sleeping and this thread has nearly doubled. Can somebody tell me if anybody in "Preparing for Shipment" has had their Watch show up in the Apple Support Profile or package show up in the "Track by Reference"?

Yeah. They need to create a way to make a long term exception in their systems. It's not a huge issue per se, but could definitely cause some headaches...
I say we will see some changes for the people who have the 42mm Stainless Steel Case with Black Sport Band today

I think some should contract apple and see why the 42mm Stainless Steel Case with Black Sport Band is take the longest to get status changed?
Alas I've finally found people who have encountered problems as I have! I'm so frustrated that I had payment problems, because now I don't know whether or not it just caused a weeks delay in getting my watch that I preordered early...
I also ordered 42mm Stainless Steel Case with Black Sport Band got a confirmation email at 3:05am (Eastern Time Zone) on the 04/24 - 05/08 group no movement! no charge still processing...
I ordered a 38mm SS milanese band at 3:08 EST and got the April 24th -May 8th. I used 2 Apple Gift Cards and my MC. I got to the app first at 3:01 PST and saw I couldn't use my gift cards - had the same delivery date so waiting for the website didn't hurt me. My card still hasn't been charged (never was i had 50% of the price covered by the Gift cards). I'm still processing and no charge yet. When I ordered my iPhone 6+ I didn't get any movement until Wednesday and still received my phone at 930 am EST on Friday launch day. My phone had been in Harrisburg, PA UPS center the entire time.
I'm hoping my watch is in the USA already.

Apple Pay needs work. This launch was a good test. Unfortunately for Apple, it failed.

i ordered the SS Milanese 04-10 at 3:06 AM. EST. With a confirmation email T 3:07. And the 4/24-5/8 deliv date but still no change in status (processing item). I am excited for those of you that have gotten beyond that point! Love the data base,,,,looks like others are in the same boat with me...
