Exactly! I was thinking the same thing. We are the first to own a watch from Apple. There will never be a first time for the Apple watch again! It is definitely not the same as a new version of something we've had ... ipod, iphone, ipad, etc. This is a whole new concept and it is just exciting as he!! to be among the first to get it!!
Just wish I knew that it definitely wasn't going to get to me by Friday. It's the hope that it could that kills me haha
I'm an :03 person and I have seen my tracking number on UPS My Choice with delivery date of 4/24 and I changed my shipping on the UPS site to hold my package at the hub. I talked to Apple support and they said my order was "locked" so they couldn't do the address change for me.
My credit card still shows a pending charge and my Apple order page still says preparing for shipment - so not having been fully charged doesn't mean it won't be scheduled for Friday delivery.
Seems to the the same for the tri-state area (NJ, PA, NY) haven't seen many, if any, who received tracking numbers. Let's hope tomorrow night by this time we're among the lucky who can sleep well knowing their watch is on its way!

I ordered an extra charging cable around 14:00 on the 10th. I just got a notification saying it was shipped and due for delivery on the 23rd.
I haven't had money taken out or any movement on my sport grey watch. I got an email notification at 00:03. WTH? I wonder when it'll show up. Hopefully on the 24th.

Hmm. Maybe those close to UPS distribution centers, like you and I, might receive shipping notices later than other folks.
A ton of planes are scheduled to land between 12 and 2 AM EDT in Louisville.

pretty sure thats when the majority of planes arrive, packages get unloaded, and prepared to move on.
Louisville is the main hub for UPS in the US so its not uncommon for a ton of planes to go in and out.
Same here, it wasn't supposed to be delivered until about May 8, but that charger (1 m long) is already preparing for shipment meanwhile my watch is not.
