Just checked my order page and FINALLY "preparing for shipping" (no email yet from Apple!). 38 SS with black sports band, email confirmation of 3:03 am. Shipping to Rochester, NY.
 
Seems to the the same for the tri-state area (NJ, PA, NY) haven't seen many, if any, who received tracking numbers. Let's hope tomorrow night by this time we're among the lucky who can sleep well knowing their watch is on its way!


Kinda in the same area in DE and also have yet to see shipping from UPS.
 
Very few if any Californians received a Tracking Number for some reason.

Because we are close to the shipping centers. The watch can get to us in a few hours. Since they can give you a tracking number until the last leg of the watches journey to you, we won't see a tracking number until the day before it arrives, probably Tursday. And they don't charge your card until,they ship. So I think we are fine.
 
Wonder if I'm a good shot for Friday, my card was charged last night and order updated last night to preparing for shipment but still nothing on UPS
 
high probability 4/24 will happen...

I've had Apple launch day product (iPad Mini?) ship from local hub so I didn't get a tracking number until Wed (perhaps Thurs) and it arrived on time. The local hub is only 2 hours away. So if the current batch of tracking numbers shows packages already in the USA/local hubs then we are likely to receive our goodies on Friday. From the past several launches, there is a high percentage of those that received launch day products on launch day and a very very very small percentage that did not.

The extra charger I ordered was charged yesterday and shipped today expected to arrive tomorrow.

I'm in So Cal. I'm not worried (yet) LOL

Just so everyone is aware, if you're wanting to change your UPS delivery option to "hold at location," make sure you select a UPS CUSTOMER CENTER, not a UPS store or authorized holder. Otherwise, your order could potentially be delayed.

How I found out is because I selected a local store and it gave me an estimated delivery time of a day later than scheduled.

When I selected the Customer Center, it gave me my same scheduled delivery date and a day that I had to pick it up by.

Odd, I have not seen any others from CA with numbers from UPS. Which one did you order? Where are you located? What time did you order?

Silver Sport 42 with white band here, ordered at 12:03, sacramento.

There have been several with CA shipping addresses. This is one huge thread, so easy to miss. Our local warehouse is in Rialto (SoCal). As mentioned in my post, and evidenced underneath my login name, I live in the Bay Area.

From past experiences I bet tomorrow will be the big "shipping notice day". Can't wait to see all your reviews since I'm in the June boat.
 
I too am wondering if those of us in CA are getting our watches via FedEX. I put in my info for tracking by reference. The first time I got "This tracking number could not be found" Then I tried again, still using my phone number but adding the extra 4 digits to my zip code as listed in the shipping details for my order. It then said "Unfortunately we are unable to retrieve your tracking results at this time. Please try again later."
I'm gonna keep checking with FedEx and see if it changes.
Keeping fingers crossed!!!

Thanks for the comment. I learned if you have it go to a local access point, it costs $5 and will take approximately 1 business day to get there. I'd rather just pick it up at 9 AM at the UPS Customer Center. It'll allow me to get there earlier and pick it up first thing in the morning 4/24.

Yes, this is what I am doing and would advocate for. Direct hold at the Customer Center.
