Usually my Apple deliveries come through FedEx. My additional charger is shipping today out of PA from FedEx. I don't see why Apple wouldn't use the same carrier for the Watch....

Yah, I'm in NY and still waiting for additional movement beyond "preparing for shipment"... Have we determined that there really isn't a way to track by reference with FedEx without a tracking number?

Ah, good to know, thanks. I've never preordered anything directly from Apple before. Unfortunately, I have to drive an hour if I want them to hold a package at FedEx while I only have to drive 5 minutes to the UPS center.

More like Apple has the most of these watches available and spread out to regional distribution centers.

I doubt a black piece of rubber is a production issue for apple.

You misread me. The watches with these bands haven't been scanned through yet. Hence, we are "held up" for now.

I believe the reference is whatever phone number you have on your order. On my charger tracking the reference field has my number.
I was able to pull up my charger tracking by reference/phone/ship to zip

Im leaning towards they will do them all together and hopefully these last 2 planes have our watches.... IF none of us see movement with these 2 planes then I will throw in the towel

I doubt manufacturing issues. They have a ton of black bands on sport watches that have shipped.
