They are still processing orders, I just got a shipping notice for a watch charger... Granted it's not a watch, but it's coming from the same distribution center as my watch should be in Harrisburg. (Hope springs eternal....)
Of course I am. I have a beautiful 7mo baby girl. I have nothing to be disappointed about .... Well I'll still happily except it on the 24th

Two separate orders: SG 42 black sport band, 38 pink sport band. Two separate confirmation emails: one at 3:03am EDT, the other at 3:04am. Just got the email of death for each.

Would an Apple Watch baby monitoring app change your mind?
ordered the same watches in 1 order, and received the email of death. Is anyone considering cancelling and buying at a later date?
Don't give up, to me it isn to email of death, it some info, for us to make sure we have the right phones so it can work with the apple watch. I say the email is good, Pretty soon I'm going to check my order status then go to bed and when I get up tomorrow morning I hope I will have a email with shipping info. I say some of us with this watch will still get it Friday.
Would we have been more happy with a delayed launch than this? This hasn't been a very easy or successful debut. I don't and probably never will understand why Apple did not see this coming. Maybe they did. I dunno. I am still stuck in "Preparing to ship" and knock on wood have not received an email of death. I really hope those of you that did receive your watches on Friday. Fingers crossed for you.....and toes lol

This is a crazy idea. What makes you think that you'll get it any quicker by doing that?
Be patient. I know it's hard but they gave us until May 8th for a reason. After that then you might have more reason to cancel, but not like they will ignore your order.
Canceling your order just ensures that there's no chance you'll get it whereas you'll probably get it before May 8th if that was your original estimate.
Hard to prove and also, was it an authorized thing for them to say or a rogue agent? Did it affect our purchasing decision?
I think someone else stated that it would have been nice to know which models were constrained. Had I know SG would not have shipped Friday I would have opted for another model such as some of the SS models that didn't sell out as fast.
I think the lesson learn for apple here would have been to not use ranges. When you comfortably run out of supply, bump the delivery date to the 1st, then the 8th and so on ... Up front and while you are ordering. I think people would be less frustrated. Worse case you ship it to them early and not your have people praising apple. Oh well.

Just got the email of death, I have been holding out, trusting to pull through on the watch 42 SS BSB @ 2:05 AM CST confirmed email. I guess they didn't plan on the SS being that popular.
