Delivery Dates 4/24-5/8

So pissed

So i ordered 3 watches, 1 for me 1 for the wife, and For my daughter her first New apple toy (all the ipad's / iphone's etc have been hand me downs till now), I thought it would be fitting as her birthday is 4/24 so it was fate, and you guessed it got shipping for the first 2 and they will be here Friday but the one for my daughter i got the dreaded "We're working on your order.:apple:" email from apple :(
Not happy I am a huge apple fan and buy every release along with converting many droid and PC folks over to apple but this launch was a whole mess, all 3 orders where done with conf by 3:05 am and the first one ordered was for my daughter so it should have been the first shipped.

I hope i have a gift for my daughter on Friday.

Was your daughter's the 38mm pink sport? That one seems to have issues. :(

I would but both mine and the wife's are 42mm and hers is 38mm
She is tinny and the 42mm is way to big for her, plus giving her ours then swapping would be similar to the hand me down, that i wanted to be her OWN for the first time :(

No she wanted the SG (she is clumsy so didnt want shinny) so we ordered the pink band and a SG sport 38mm for her

yeah thats what mine said Monday 4/27. However i called UPS's customer service to confirm this and see if i can change it to my original address, the customer rep told me it should be at the store on Friday sometime.

I feel your pain. I received the email as well. I have to say I am very disappointed, especially since folks ordered much later then I, received shipping windows 4-6 weeks and some for June, and yet they will get their watch before me. I ordered 42mm SS BSB 3:06am confirmation email from apple on the 10th.

Same for here, I think :apple: IS a big fail on this release, I love apple toys but also I think its like a big tech family and part of that is the launch day lines and release day fun with all that wait up and order in the dead of night. yet this launch giving a 2 week window after a 2 pre-order... There is no excuse, they knew how many watches they had and should have been able to say yes or no when ordering if you will get it on launch day.

I'm in the same boat as you. Although I ordered 42mm Sports SG with black band. Got confirmation email at 17:03:02 AEST. Got the kiss of death email this afternoon. I feel gutted. Especially, when there are others that ordered after me and had the estimated delivery after the first wave of deliveries. Still processing the order. I really dislike that word now. No charge on my card. Oh well. I am happy for the others and I know I'll get mine sooner rather than later. But, ugh.
 
I am fine with receiving a 2 week shipping window. I am also fine with others receiving their watches before me. I just want Apple to answer why those orders were processed before mine. It has been a very strange launch and my gut feeling was to wait until generation two but I'm a junky like most :cool:
 
Just got my shipped email from the Apple Store and my white sport showed up in my profile. Email arrived 5:07am ET

I woke up to the infamous "We are working on your order" email.....
No change on anything..
This really blows...

Im in this boat... I ordered @ exactly :02 and email confim @ :03 and damn sure ordered allot sooner than several on here that have received their confirm and status change

Just got my UPS tracking info and my watch showed up in my support profile.

For reference: 38mm sport WSB
Shipping to upstate NY

Also received the official Apple email saying my status has changed to Shipped and it'll be here tomorrow.

I hope this happens for many many more of us!!

Yeah! I ordered this at about 10 am on the tenth as i slept in:(
So i'm really surprised i'm actually getting it tomorrow (hopefully)

our only hope is that our watches are on this last plane coming in:

It takes off in 3hours 13 minutes and will not land for another 8 hours 27 minutes, that would be closer to 5pm my time. Apple is using next day delivery so IF BY CHANCE the flight lands and we are in this batch , we should know something by later today...
 
Just woke up to a shipping conf. email from apple and a tracking number. Looks like I'll get my SG 42mm Sport tomorrow!:D:D
 
Got my tracking numbers in emails over night from Apple. Both watches are in transit for Friday delivery!!!

It's official, I'll be sick tomorrow!!! Lol :D

Has anyone from Australia had theirs change to "Shipped" yet?

Mine has been charged, changed to "Preparing" and I have not received the "Dreaded Email" but its getting late now, so I'm starting to think we wont be seeing them tomorrow in Aus.
