That option is offered by Apple, not UPS. Apple usually provides a form on your order you can print and sign to leave on your door for UPS.

Correct. I was just saying UPS does it after a failed delivery.

Pre-sign on Apple.com if the option shows for you.
I believe you can print the form from apples order page once you have gotten the "shipped" for your watch
What I mean is, the option to Pre-sign on apple.com is not showing on my order even though it shows Shipped.

I don't. I'm just gonna wait for the trucks Friday. Then RIGHT to the Apple Store for AppleCare+. I'll probably cancel my order for my extra charger since there might be some in stock there.
Weird question, but for the signature that Apple requires, does it have to be my signature (i.e. the named recipient) or can it be anyone? I am having mine delivered to my office and typically the receptionist signs for all UPS and FedEx packages. I assume this wouldn't be any different, but just thought I'd ask.

They used to, at least as of late 2013. I still have one for a MBA I ordered in December that year. This is the Apple pre-sign form that was available from the order status page when an item shipped. Even though I'm home, I still like to stick it to the door in case I don't get to the door quick enough.

when you changed the deliver to pick up at the UPS store did the confirmation page on UPS MY choice changed it to "estimated delivery date 4/27"?
I'm probably going to call UPS and chat with Apple later today to verify my options...

No , when I changed it to my local ups store and did say 4/27 . So I backed out and selected the hub instead, and that one said available for pick up on the 4/24. I'm glad I caught that, I almost screwed myself over! #
