Thanks, it had been a few pages since anyone reminded us of their moral superiority.

For those pissed off that they aren't getting their watch tomorrow. Calm down, you will get it in the next few weeks.

Besides, there are kids/people who would love to be in our position of just to enjoy these devices and have no worries at all.

Take this 14 year old boy from Ottawa that has to endure pain every bleeping day. After I saw this, I felt foolish about worrying about stuff like when I'll get my watch or even having a bad day at work. Why, because it doesn't pale in comparision on what this little guy is going throw.

Viewer descrection is advised and after seeing this, I hope you calm down, relax & realize that you will get your device, but it will take a little longer for Apple to get it to you.

If I get banned for this from the forums, so be it.

Very easy to have that perspective if your getting your watch tomorrow..

Negativity!

So much negativity on here!

I received the death email. Order confirmation by 12:03PST. Yet I have confidence that I will receive my watch tomorrow. I'm positive. Then all of you naysayers can eat your watch.

Well guys, my 42mm ss Milanese I ordered at 12:06pdt, is still being processed. Holding out hope that since I'm in Atlanta maybe something will happen today, but not getting my hopes up. My charger meanwhile went from processing to preparing for shipment to shipped the day I ordered it and it showed up the very next day.

Ordered 42mm ss
Confirm Email 12:03 PDT
Credit Card Charged Monday
Status Changed to Preparing for Shipping Monday
Yet no tracking info, no email, still on "Preparing for Shipping"
Delivers to Seattle, WA

Any thoughts or insights?

For those of you picking their package up at the local UPS depot:

  • Wait for tracking to show "In Transit" before submitting a request (needs to be scanned by UPS to process the request)
  • You can submit a request anytime before midnight tonight, so don't worry if yours is still "Ready for UPS"
  • You'll be be able to pick up the package tomorrow morning (~9:00am for most)
  • Make sure you select a UPS Customer Center (not a store), otherwise you will have to wait until Monday

Did you ever contact apple about your watch, I am wondering if its only people who emailed or called apple that got the email..?

I haven't contacted Apple and I got the email.

42mm SS Milanese

No Charge
EOD came in 9:57pm

Local UPS Store Update

I called the local UPS store in advance (not a customer center) and asked how their logistics work with the hub before requesting the delivery change with MyUPS. They told me that due to their location they get these packages from the hub same day (most of the time). He said it would likely reflect in the MyUPS tracking. He was right. :)

My watch now appears in my Apple Support Profile! Although the picture it shows is the link bracelet band when I ordered the black leather one.. hmm. I mean I'll take the link bracelet if that's what they sent me lol.

Pretty much the same boat except mine was 2:08 and is coming to Austin.

Curious that Apple still says preparing to ship on my 38mm white sport but My UPS shows delivery for tomorrow.
