Just curious- since you are in Australia. When are you supposed to get it-24? Our 24 is really your 23rd. If you ever got launch day Apple products before, when did they arrive for you?

Yeah we get it our 24th, so technically a day earlier then the U.S. :)

I checked my French iPhone orders, they are always been sent from the EU the day before the actual delivery... So it might be shipped on the 23 for France.

I guess I don't get he fascination with this $5 app. For free I get instant notifications from UPS, FedEx, and USPS for any packages coming to my house- and without having to enter anything manually myself. Why would someone pay $5 to have to do it manually?

Mostly convenience. It also supports some of the more obscure shipping companies. I can also sync my deliveries between iPhone and the Mac, and the iPhone app comes with an Apple Watch app too. And it's trivial to add new deliveries to it, just copy the shipping number, open Deliveries, which auto-detects the shipping number and fills out relevant info for you, and you just click Done. That's pretty much it. You also get to see a history of your packages.

I was using Deliveries back when it was a Dashboard widget, and even back then it was awesome, definitely one of the best widgets, and the only reason I kept Dashboard enabled.

I've check my order on for my i6 , they gave me shipping notification on Monday 9:00PM Singapore time.
So I think , I'd get update with in 18 hours.

Here is what Apple is saying now:

Apple Watch Magnetic Charging Cable (2 m)
Available to ship: 7-10 business days
Delivers: Apr 23 - Apr 28 by Standard Shipping

It updated from the original time frame of 4/24 - 5/8 to this.
Apple watch still shows original time frame.
Of note is the 23rd

I actually did a test of looking up the order by just order number and email on apple's website (no login) and it only shows basic info about the order. If I then tried to "show order details" or "cancel order," it referred me to the login page.

So, I should be ok. But, I might cover those just to be extra cautious. Just didn't want anyone to accuse me of faking the information. Not my intentions.

Thank you for your concern. :)

Oh, damn. Thought I had something! Thank you for double checking. lol

Sorry everyone. I was hoping I was on to something. Rookie mistake.

It's okay. I like your enthusiasm.

That will always be true though. When would the window ever not be "wide open" for an update to be made "imminently"?

Well imminently means it's happening very soon, that wouldn't have been the case had I have said it last week for example. But it is, as it stands, right now.

None of us have heard anything from apple, no news is good news in this case. Even although it's driving us all insane. They could potentially update our range if they wanted, but they haven't cause they are still planning for a 24th release.

So the 28th is not the exact delivery date for the other guy..there's still hope :)

Mines is still the same. Anyone else got this?

Also, out of interest, what model did you go for?

App Store app of my iPhone - iPad app was not ready and website on my Mac was not ready either. So the iPhone and it's app came through first.

I think he meant where are you seeing the updated time frame, on the Apple Store app or another app, like Deliveries, for example?

Sorry for all the questions. But thanks for taking the time to answer.

I think this is a great sign for the 24th personally, and also that they are currently working through a potential batch of new deliveries and processing them through to couriers.

Fingers crossed we wake up here in the UK tomorrow with an updated status. Not sure many Apple geeks will be very productive next week although really glad I have Friday booked as holiday so a short week.
