Thank you all that replied about the delivery app. I got the parcel app, which was free and even though it recognized the order the only information it gave me was "No data available". So, it looks like Deliveries definitely gives more information for what I've read here.

Could I trouble anyone to post a screen shot of this delivers app and what information it actually shows you more than the Apple site?

This is what Deliveries for Mac shows when you plug in your order number and email address.

EDIT - Deliveries is hands down the best tracking app I've used. I'd gladly pay 4.99 again for it. Between Apple Watch support, iOS widgets and Mac widgets, I couldn't use anything else.

Gah, just got a "shipping notification" email from Apple show up in the corner on my screen - it was the MagSafe to MagSafe 2 connector that I forgot I ordered :)

I'm in the 5/13-27 group anyway, still, I was reading this forum when I got it.

I think we may need a 12 step program.

Hahaha Same happened to me a few minutes ago. I upgraded my iCloud storage a few days ago and forgot about it. The email I got said "your receipt from Apple" and I got so excited. Should have know when I saw the word 'iCloud," but my hopes were too high to put 2 and 2 together. lmao

I think it's safe to say that the phrase "An apple a day keeps the doctor away" may be incorrect. (agreeing with your 12 step comment) :apple:

Not sure how the delivery app can provide alerts faster then Apple when it just uses your order number and email to check your order status. Not sure how often it polls their server but seems like you would get a push notification from the Apple Store app first.

This is very possible. I've got both installed so we'll see what happens. I just happen to already own it so I might as well test it.

EDIT - One thing I like is being able to quickly check the status without having to enter my Apple ID in the Apple Store app.

IMO its the best postal/ order tracking app, its helped me with three phones two ipod and now the  watch:)

What size? I ordered a 42mm space grey black band. I'm not sure my exact order time but my email came in at 12:04 and I got in first date range. Pretty sure the email was pretty instant.

Mine was 42mm as well. I think it's because I'm in Canada and they've probably split the stock up between countries proportionately.

Though everyone who ordered right when the store opened got a 4/24 date. Crept me :(

Here you go! Also didn't know there was a widget for it. May need to add that to my notification centre…

In the U.S., you can sign up on both the FedEx and UPS sites to be notified when any package, shipped from anywhere, is coming to your house. You can get an update via text or email. And they both have apps too. And they are free.

You can also get the Deliveries *widget* and install that in your dashboard on your iMac for free. That will track directly from Apple. http://junecloud.com/support/delivery-status-widget/

From past experiences I think it is a good guess that your item is on its way to you is when the cancel option is not available anymore in the Apple Store, at the moment the cancel option is still available for mine....

Thank you for the widget info!

How do you go about being notified from FedEx and UPS?

Thank you!

I get this is nice for an extra notification and for the widget, but I am personally checking this forum constantly, so if I don't get a notification, I will just see you guys posting about it and check it myself. Lol.

Won't the Apple Store app push a notification without logging in?

Sorry to hear that! I was wondering how you ordered before me but got a later date. Didn't think about the US getting priority. Definitely not fair.
