Does anyone know if they're selling the bands in store or are those online purchase only too?

It would seem bands will be hard to come by for awhile, since it's essentially the supply and demand of bands that is largely creating this mess in the first place... There's no difference between all the 42mm SS watches other than the bands... If you chose the wrong band, you wait, if you chose an unpopular band, then you probably already have your watch.

I certainly would not expect to see BSB available for retail until after all of the outstanding orders of watches bearing that band are fulfilled. Apples entire focus should be on making complete watches at this point, not diverting that manufacturing to making bands alone for accessory sale.

When i went to the store for the try on experience i was told you could only buy the bands online. I assume was the shipping gets better and you can buy the watch in the store they'll have bands to buy as well.
 
And the pink sport watches....not a single one was shipped out for launch yet that's what was advertised on their site on 4/10 like every other watch/band combo. It's beyond frustrating that they haven't had any communication with any of us -_-

I agree. Got a 12:01 am PST confirmation email for my wife's 38 mm pink. I wish they would have been upfront and I would have got a white or green one. Still just processing and I have a gut feeling it will come in early May (which is within the deadline) but frustrating given that I ordered it before many others that got theirs for their spouses on launch day. #FirstWorldProblems

I really hope it's not that late. :( I had to do some serious convincing to get my fiancé to even open the box to his white sport which he got on launch day. It will be so frustrating to have THAT big of a gap between when he got his and when I will get mine :( especially when we ordered it two minutes apart at :01 and :03. :confused: and now the worst part is I still want the pink one (no matter how long it takes) because of how legendary and rare it now seems hahaha :D
 
I lost faith in Apple when my coworker received the same model as me on Friday. 42SS with black classic Buckle. He ordered 10 minutes after me and I've seen no movement.

We both confirmed our times with Apple to find out when the orders hit their servers. Still a 10 minute gap.

I just don't get it. If Apple would tell me there was an issue or come out and say they have a shortage on certain bands I would be much happier. No communication, typical political responses and no explanation about the example I mentioned above. For them to come out and tell me everyone is doing things like photoshopping their screen captures (and they are emphasized EVERYONE) pisses me off even more.

Right?! They have done the same thing to me. I've asked them if they know anything about why not a single PSB was shipped out for launch day and they just kept giving me those same answers and would tell me oh your order should be changing "any minute" and if that's the case it's been the longest "minute" of my life. #
 
Apple just asked me through email how my experience was!!!! So I told them :)

After getting up to order my watch and completing it at 3:03am eastern time. And it still not shipping as of right now. And apples inability to give their customers actual accurate information about what is going on with their order is frustrating and unacceptable. I know you gave a 2 week window of delivery. But I purchased my watch 2 weeks ago in the middle of the night after telling you in my favorites exactly the one I was going to buy. As far as I'm concerned my order should have been filled without incident or delay. We all have been preparing for this purchase since September (Apple and their customers). I'm not mad as much as telling you how my heart feels. As this is a personal and emotional purchase as you have billed it in your Keynotes. I want to see it coming from a company that actually cares about every individual customer, not just "Things are Great for Apple". And right now that's not who you are. I own A LOT of your products. And I have converted may friends and family to Apple. I am a machinist and understand manufacturing better then most but whatever went wrong with this launch would have better been explained to your waiting customers then the silent treatment. And the email you coldly sent in the middle of the night to waiting customers had no content to help us understand your dilemma of filling orders and therefore no sympathy could be found for such a cold and impersonal mailing. We are not mushrooms. We can handle the truth and we want to appreciate your hard work on such a amazing product. But you aren't giving us anything to work with.

I have been an Apple customer for 35 years. I am also a Apple developer. That said I am an active blogger and the goto Apple guy in my circles of friends and family.
I am not complaining about not receiving my preorder on launch day. I ordered at 0:05 PST but so far have seen no progress. What I am concerned about is that clearly the “shipped in the order received” did not happen.
Forums across the web are full with posted screenshots showing ordres being skipped. I personally know of cases where the exact same watch was delivered today by people who did not order it in the first wave.
Unfortunately the Apple Chat Customer service is not helpful making meaningless statements with zero merit, not helping the cause.
I know here is little you can do now, but just for the record - this was a bad launch.
Expectations where higher than usual, the hype was as it peak and a lot of loyal followers where badly disappointed.
Maybe the new launch model is not so great after all?
In any way, congratulations on an other successful product launch.

I ordered 42 sg conf at :03. Received EOD. My watch is now sitting at the warehouse down the street with delivery on Monday. Cant wait. Had some false hope this morning when the apple app told me that good news it will be delivered today which didnt happen, but I was away all day anyhow. Can't wait until Monday!!
 
Guys, ordered 42 sgs and 38 pink sport at 00:03 on April 10th. The 42 sgs is finally being shipped, delivery expected on Monday. Still NoTHING no update, no nada about the 38 pink. Apple, you are disappointing me.

What you're seeing on your CC is actually a temporary hold, not a charge— even thought looks like charge. All bank cards get an initial hit to see if it's a valid account and also to determine if the funds are available. It'll drop off in a few days after it's not authenticated.

Then you will get to wait for the watch to ship sometime in June, as your confirmation letter states.

I bought my apple watch on eBay.Is it possible something ships on eBay and they don't tell you about it? Because the seller said he would ship it already by now.

You may want to be very careful about purchasing watches on eBay. Thousands of counterfeit "Apple Watches" hit the streets in Hong Kong early 4/23. These crooks are making small fortunes selling fake watches. And some of them are very good fakes.
 
I am trying to check on my order and get a message that says "We're Sorry. Something went wrong with your request. Please try again later." Anyone else seeing this?
